Class A Duty uniform: This is the standard duty uniform worn by most officers aboard the USS Sulu.

Class B Duty Uniform: An alternate uniform available for daily wear. Crew members can decide whether they wish to wear the Class A or Class B uniform. On some ships/stations, a commanding officer will require all personnel to wear one or the other. Captain Salinger allows for either style while on duty, as long as one of the two is worn.

Class A Variant Uniform: A hold-over from earlier days in Starfleet. Some female officers still opt to wear the skirt with their duty uniform, and Captain Salinger has accepted this as a variant.

Dress Uniform: This uniform is worn at all formal gatherings, diplomatic engagements, and any other event where a good impression is required.

Surface Operation Blacks: A uniform variant typically used in ground-based combat scenarios. It wasn't long after they were introduced that they earned the acronym S.O.B.s, and typically those wearing the uniform were called the same. The fabric is specially treated, and offers some protection against energy weapons.

Class A Field Uniform: One type of variant commonly worn during strenuous or very active Away Missions.

Class B Field Uniform: One type of variant commonly worn during strenuous or very active Away Missions.

Hot Weather Uniform: On Away Team Missions where weather is expected to be hot, this uniform variant is used. The fabric is lightweight, and helps to keep its wearer cool.

Training Uniform: This variant of the duty uniform is typically worn while off-duty, during training, or other physical activities.
