Simmer of the Month
Every month, nominations are taken for the simmer of the month (a sample post must be included as a sign of the simmer's excellence). A vote is held and the winner will be simmer of the month for the next month. Any simmer who posts on a consistent basis, who manages to integrate great character development with a high quality of writing and creativity should be considered for this award. Beyond the Call
An award granted by the GMs to those simmers who take on a project, task, plot, etc over and above what their character would normally be responsible for in the sim. Visit the Beyond the Call page. |

The Excellent Post Award
The Excellent Post Award is given to those simmers whose posts capture the attention of their peers. These posts been recognized for their dedication to detail and character development, style and enthusiasm, attention to detail and capturing the spirit of Star Trek and simming, and a host of other reasons. The Award of Excellence
The Award of Excellence is given to those posts whose contributions to the stories of the USS Sulu sim exceed all expectations. These posts have been recognized by their peers as being excellently written, and have been honoured with this award. These comprise everything found in the winners of the Excellent Post Award, and then go beyond. These winners have been chosen from among those who have won the Excellent Post Award, and then voted upon by their peers. The GM Appreciation Award
The GM Appreciation Award was a special award given to the GMs of the sim by the simmers.
On behalf of the writers and crew of the USS Hikaru Sulu, I take great pleasure in honoring our GMs, Marc and Maria, with the GM Appreciation Award. This award was created since both our GMs are great simmers but are not eligible for so many of the peer awards given on the website. Please allow this award to stand as an ongoing symbol of our appreciation and dedication to your sim. We thank you.
