Background Adora was born in Paris France on December 25th. During her youth Adora attended the finest Educational institutions available on Earth. During this time she developed a love for biological and life sciences. She was exposed to strict study habits and heavy curriculums. Adora's Father was a very opinionative man who was also an Admiral in Starfleet. Her Mother was a Biology researcher in Sydney. Growing up was difficult for Adora and her sister because their Father always went away and when he was around he would lecture to them about the Prime Directive and its implications. His career always seemed to take the front seat over his family. This absence made the sisters grow closer and they had to watch out for one another. Their Mother was always there for them but what the girls really needed was their Father to be a Father rather than an Admiral.

While not studying Adora played tennis in which she was ranked 6th in the world at only age 14. She was very close to her sister while growing up and they both entered the Academy at age 18. Colby went into security and was posted on the U.S.S Sentinel. Adora on the other hand had always been fascinated by the life sciences and applied to the Medical Division at Starfleet Academy. After four years at the Academy she was accepted into the medical stream. Right from the start Adora wanted to study the mind and psychology. She was a hard worker at the Academy which hindered her developing any real friendships. However her instructors found her to be one of the most brilliant young minds they had ever seen. Adora was very ambitious and competitive, she always had to be the best at what she did. After three years of training Adora was awarded high honours and the Academic excellence award. Due to exceptional marks Adora was allowed to skip a year of training.

Due to her high academic achievements Adora was given the opportunity to be part of the Counselling team assigned to the returning U.S.S Voyager in 2378. For 6 months Adora was assigned to Starfleet Headquarters and had a case load of 12 patients.

Adora's skills were developed and Admiral Janeway commended her on her abilities as a therapist.

Adora received her M.D in 2379 with a specialization in Emergency Medicine and General Surgery. After this Adora was chosen to go to Betazed and received her Ph.D in Psychology. This dual training allowed her to work on a Starship as a Physician or as a Counselor. This fact makes Adora a very valuable asset to any ship.
