The Yandrosa District

Yandrosa is commonly known as the Alien District because it is home to many smaller sub-districts, each being a grotto of different galactic races (Bothan Grotto, Duros Grotto, Zabrak Grotto, etc...). During the Empire, Yandrosa was created in the image of the Alien City on Coruscant, dividing that district from the rest of Commerce City, to keep nonhumans segregated. Like the Yallder District, Yandrosa is cheap, having led to its near overpopulated communities and higher crime rate. Yandrosa is a good place to visit for one who wishes greater cultural knowledge, or to get information on a certain person of a certain race. However, Yandrosa can be a dangerous place if one is not careful and respectful of certain cultural norms.

On the outskirts of Yandrosa, between the Yemol, Yellvin and Yandrosa district borders is the Yandrosa Metrostation, a stopping point on New Plouton's main Metrorail. Also located just off the Yandrosa Metrostation is the world reknowned Yandrosa Dome. During the first years of Imperial Occupation, the Yandrosa Drome was used as a detention center, before people were processed into the Yandrosa District. Many Imperial atrocities were committed inside the Dome. Now though, it is where year long games and festivals are held.
