The Yalyssar District

The Yalyssar District is home to the New Republic Embassy to Chimaeria. Many other embassy-like Consulates can be found within the Yalyssar District, where both New Republic and officials from individual sovereign worlds work with New Plouton officials on lesser diplomatic and business agendas. Yalyssar is a beautiful district, its architecture and landscapings having been designed to promote many of the latest and past classical styles from around the galaxy. Yalyssar's reconstruction was paid for by the New Republic, but its construction was done by sub-contractors to New Plouton businesses, providing many jobs and helping to promote the local economy.

Located in the heart of Yalyssar is the New Republic Embassy, a large Coruscant-esque skyscraper (the rightmost building on the left picture above) hovering over the rest of the district. The foyer into the building from ground level boasts regal columns and tasteful decor. Each column has a plaque honoring the many species who fought during the Rebellion. Theen Fida, an Anx diplomat, is the resident Ambassador to Chimaeria, for the New Republic. He splits his time between his duties in Yalyssar for the people of New Plouton, and his duties in Arcadia - for the business of the New Republic.
