The Tae'Sollar Gauntlet began construction on Niothe 16, 4ABY and has, since its opening, enjoyed great success. The track spans a distance of 100 km and goes through some of Tae'Sollar's many vast canyons and rocky corridors, making for a much more perilous race than a mere trek through the desert plains. The stadium holds a staggering 500,000 spectators that wait in line for hours, and pay quite the steep sum for the three lap, twenty-minutes worth of daring maneuvers and exciting crashes that are the main draw of any pod race. Many of Tae'Karada's affluent businessmen have been known to frequently attend these races, and those that are deemed notable enough by Jadda the Hutt are allowed to watch the races within the comfort of one of his many royal boxes. Large displays are positioned around the stadium to provide an uninterrupted view of the race as the competitors stretch farther out into the desert. The twists and turns are some of the most treacherous ever seen, and it has been said that the Tae'Sollar pod races will soon rival the popularity of the Boonta Classic on Tatooine.
