The Jedi Temple on Tae'Karada is located east of New Plouton, roughly an hour's speeder trip through the forest. While a road has since been paved through the forest to help those seeking the Jedi, in their now-open role upon Tae'Karada and the Outer Rim, the Temple itself still remains isolated from the noise and bustle of the largest city of the planet.
After the devastating Jedi Purge by Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, the Jedi had very little to rebuild from. But, there was enough to start. Beginning separately and apart from the Jedi being taught by Master Luke Skywalker, the Jedi formed their own Council and their own methods of teaching. All involved knew it would be a struggle, but they were determined.
