 A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... The Emperor has fallen by not all of the perils of the galaxy have disappeared. Far out in the Outer Rim, Tae'Karada has been the site of constant power struggles and war. As peace had finally seemed to settle on the ravaged world, a species of alien invaders arrived to enslave the people and steal precious resources from the conquered Karadans. The fledgling Jedi Order was branded as outlaws. The High Princess, ruler of all of Tae'Karada, apparently slain. It is a dark time. And in that darkness, the people rose to fight back. Seeking to throw off the yoke of oppression, they have struck back at the Jau, delivering a catastrphic blow against the Jau's desert mining operation. But the Jau are not so easily beaten. It is war! Uniting together under a common cause, Jedi and crimelord, senator and smuggler, soldier and scum have joined to fight back the alien threat that could doom them all. Star Wars - Tales from the Outer Rim is a Play-by-email simulation set in the Star Wars universe.
