Ambra - New Plouton slang for "buddy" or "pal." Antorial Industries - Zale Tregat's collective corporate interests on Tae'Karada. The umbrella of the corporation covers both public and illicit interests. Arovaea - A term used in Thanatos by the natives. It means "beloved of my blood." Arozeil - A term used in Thanatos by the natives. The word is commonly used for a man or woman's chosen. In the Kir'Thanan mythology, the arozeil'kir was the other half of the great warrior Hagral. The arozeil'kir, often portrayed as a female warrior, was claimed to be Hagral's life mate and her presence signified a completeness and oneness that allowed him to overcome the invaders of the south and lead his tribe to victory. The literal translation is "bound to the heart." Aryx Kin - A secret organization loyal to the Dark Man. Little is known about the Dark Man or his organization. Asri - The soul of one of the Kir'Thana. Asri'Tae - In the Kir'Thanan mythology, it is is the final resting place of good souls. When one of the Kir'Thana dies, and has been judged to have lived a good life, Thana allows that Thanan's asri to pass on to Asri'Tae. - B - Baitar - A musical instrument with six strings, commonly either strummed or plucked. It is probably one of the most widely used instruments around the galaxy. While its applications to a Jizz Band are few, it is still capable of making beautiful music. Beeja Rat - A large rodent that is considered a residental nuisance, as it burrows under the ground and creates a nest inside of the walls of homes. They live for four years in the same home and breed prolifically, all the while sneaking directly into the home and feeding on scraps of food. Blaine, Sillas - A docking port attendant at the docking bay in Thanatos. Braaku snake - A small snake with a venomous bite, a single bite is not deadly, but the more times bitten, the closer to death the subject falls. The most effective way to win a fight against a braaku snake without being bitten too many times is to strike its head and kill it. Breijal, Lerrah - Native of the planet Agarra, and former lover of Maeren Shivral. Her current location is unknown. - C - Calamaran salmon - A type of fish native to the Mon Calamari homeworld. They have been transplanted throughout the galaxy. They are a common feature in the seafood sections of many of galaxy's restaurants. Calduin - An alcoholic beverage made from a special crop of grapes on the planet Calduin. It is a light, fruity wine with a light carbonation infused within it. Carbosyrup - A thick substance made from the sap of the carbellia tree. It is quite sweet, but it's not for everyone. For some reason, the highest percentage of people who love carbosyrup are pregnant. It is reported to be quite delicious when served over the top of a wide range of foods. Chimaedel Forest - A large forest on Tae'Karada located far to the east of Arcadia. Chippin - A small dumb bird found on Tae'Karada. The only real purpose for it, as far as any of the Karadan's have determined, is as a main course at the dinner table. However, there have been some rather delicious appetizers and other treats made from the fowl. Corellian Hawk - A native bird of the planet Corellia. It is a bird of prey that is the strongest and swiftest of all avian predators on Corellia, as well as the deadliest. Their wings span a meter in length and have razor sharp talons that are used to instantly incapacitate their prey. Liam Zaneth has a large tattoo of one such bird upon his back. Corellian Spiced Wine - A strong wine made from fermented eglad grapes and mixed with a variety of spices. It is best when served warm. Corellian Spiderhawk - A small raptor found on Corellia. Every spring, the spiderhawk is drawn back to its birthplace. Corellian Stinger Flies - Small flies found on the planet Corellia. They are commonly found near swamplands and other marsh-like territory. Csolcir Mushrooms - A type of mushroom grown on many worlds with poorer soil. It seems to thrive on the sorts of conditions that most other plantlife cannot handle. For this reason, it is usually grown by those not wanting to put a lot of effort into the growing. They are also quite tasty. - D - Daga Cabbage - A vegetable native to the planet Dadara that has been transplanted across much of the galaxy. It is commonly used in appetizers and salad-like foods. It is considered to be one of the best sources of dietary fibre in the galaxy. Darr, Coren - A young Jedi Knight who had been hiding on the planet Saellis. He was killed by a bounty hunter. He was Jae Dyn Brael's first lover. Denreaux, Liane - An artist from Cadikaar. She and Merrick Braston dated for a time. She became heavily involved in the drug scene on the planet, and soon it caused problems with her relationship. She was accidentally killed in a confrontation with Merrick and her drug supplier. Vrax Draydge - Vrax Draydge was a former employee of Kaysa Zenarr. He would later on to kidnap Kaysa and Maeren Shivral, to secure Kaysa as his own, and torment Maeren for cutting off two of his fingers. He is presumed dead after falling from the the ship that rescued Kaysa and Maeren. Droid Haven - A new establishment in Yelldon that specializes in the sale of new and used droids, as well as repair. It is owned by a Jawa named Jemul. - E - Equadi - The traditional Karadan attire for women. The garment is worn like a dress and is typically made of a sheer, transparent fabric that leaves little to the imagination. The High Prince mandated that all Karadan women wear the garment to accentuate their natural beauty. Many offworlders find the garment and the tradition to be barbaric and sexist, products of a chauvinistic monarchy who viewed the masses as chattel and the women as nothing more than trophies. Estri-Casren Tower - One of the largest office buildings within the Yesdol District of New Plouton. The topmost stories are occupied by Antorial Industries, Zale Tregat's megacorporation. - F - Faeg, Gladyne - An old shopkeeper in the Yallder District of New Plouton. Gladyne has been described by many as a Bespin pickle fruit - all wrinkly and sour. She believes the entire universe is being sucked into a sinkhole of filth and immorality, and has been known to call on the Morality Guards for any suspected violation of the Tae'Karada Moral Code. Feltreys, The - A notorious gang located in Thanatos, Tae'Karada. Their current leader is the ruthless Ferrig Mullerin who recently replaced Kael Selrid upon his relocation to New Plouton. They are currently the most feared gang in Thanatos, but they are still forced to vie for power with the other gangs inhabiting the desert. Their goal is to one day rule Thanatos and strike fear in the hearts of the Wetters who would dare step foot on their sands. - G - Grimble - A small mammal that is known for going through people's trash for scraps of food. The term is commonly also used as an insult. Grolog, Chrik - The proprietor of The White Noise. He's a surly, miserable man and understandably so. He's kept his business a successful one by signing some of the more famous names in the entertainment industry to play at his club, and having to put up with arrogant, stubborn stars has certainly put him in a permanently foul mood. - H - Hojet - A fried noodle dish served with a light sauce and tangy spices. It is often best eaten with a glass of Corellian Ale. (see: The Rhack) - I - Ice Beets - A vegetable found on Corellia. It is commonly served sliced and then marinated in a sweet berry sauce. It is reputedly excellent for hearing. - J - Jebwa Flowers - A very fragrant flower found on Corellia. It blooms in mid-summer. - K - Kaj slimebug - A mollusk found in temperate forests. It carries a shell on its back and slides along the ground at a painfully slow speed, leaving a trail of mucous as it moves. Karada Scouts - A youth organization on Tae'Karada. It was created seventy-five years ago by a man named Badrik Poe to keep the boys of the planet from getting into trouble. They involved themselves in many outreach programs to assist those in need on Tae'Karada. Girls were not allowed to join, and High Prince Ailor blocked every attempt to have a similar organization for them started. When it came before him, High Prince Airan also blocked the attempt to start a group for girls. Karradas, Rennor - Until his untimely death, Rennor Karradas was one of Tae'Karada's richest men. He made a vast fortune in various business ventures in New Plouton. He had an arrogance and conceit to match his wealth, but all that was cut short when he was murdered by Vrax Draydge. Vrax pinned the murder on Rennor's ex-fiancée Kaysa Zenarr and Zale Tregat, both of whom were acquitted of the charges. Kir'Thana - A term used to describe the citizens of Thanatos. It is a word from the ancient Karadan tongue, and translated, it means "From the sands of Thanatos". The Kir'Thana take pride in their name, for it is a reminder of their heritage, as well as the struggles their ancestors encountered while trying to thrive in the harsh desert. - L - Laeken, Tal Dan - The former Jedi Master of Liam Zaneth and Kallia Brael. While Liam was under the thrall of the Dark Side, he hunted down and killed Tal Dan. Jae Dyn named her fighter after her former master. She sold it for cash when she left Tae'Karada and settled on Tatooine. Lath's Bar - A very rough and rowdy bar in the Yallder District of New Plouton. Merrick Braston and Kaysa Zenarr went here on the night they met, and Kaysa had to save Merrick from having his face pounded in. Liberation Army - An organization formed and led by Garnet Seifer. - M - Malren, Corun - A young, redheaded waiter Shiv and Kaysa met at a bar in the Yallder District. Shiv took quite a liking to him and invited him home for evening of carnal pleasure. His evening was quite pleasant, until he got on Kaysa's bad side. He ended the evening crawling home with a bloodied and broken nose, administered by Shiv herself. Suffice it to say, he learned never to cross Kaysa or Shiv again. Morathan Head Tattoos - Intricate tattoos worn on the heads of the men of Morathi. Some are so intricate that they take many years before they are finally completed. - N - Nebanna cheese log - A special cheese created on Bespin. Processed using Nebanna gas, one of the many gasses mined on the planet, the cheese is quite fragrant. It is commonly given during the various holiday seasons, though rarely consumed. While most humanoids do avoid the cheese, the nysann fly appears to have quite the appetite for it. Neerou, Orinth - The grandfather of Yelara Neerou, as well as her only surviving relative. He currently resides on Corellia. Noshoffler, Elgryde - An elderly woman residing in the same apartment complex as Liam and Yelara Zaneth during their stay on Tae'Karada while assisting Oot Kovan. She is quite nosey, and has advice for every situation. New Plouton Morality Guard, The - A type of police force in New Plouton that deals with transgressions against the Moral Code, which is a set of laws created by the Tae'Karada's high prince and his advising council to keep public acts of lewdness and indecency - as well as the perpetrators performing them - off the streets of New Plouton. Any citizen can call upon the Morality Guards at any moment if they witness or suspect a violation of the Moral Code, and those caught doing so are severely reprimanded. Recent times have seen the influence of the Morality Guard spreading to other cities around the globe. (see also: Faeg, Gladyne) Nysann fly - A small insect that travels in swarms on Bespin. On the whole, they are quite harmless. Their diet primarily consists Nebanna gas, though they are particularly drawn to the cheese created using Nebanna gas, especially the Nebanna cheese log. The swarm, upon encountering a cheese log, will fly to it and then burrow into it, eating as they go. Once they have consumed their fill, they fly off leaving the cheese log peppered with small, fly-sized holes. - O - - P - Pathrellan Satin - A fine fabric made from the silks of a Pathrellan spinning beetle. Pink Monga - One of the more frequented bars in Yelldon. It offers access to a wider variety of clientele than some of the more exclusive establishments found around New Plouton. As an added bonus, they don't water down their drinks. Prado - New Plouton slang. It equates to an order of "now!" or "hurry!" - Q - - R - Raliek, Parven - An ex-rebel pilot and smuggler. He came to the Drogen Shipyards and became acquainted with Yelara Neerou. After a long meeting, he inducted her into the Rebel Alliance, but because of Yelara's relationship with Dargus Kandran, the only gratitude he received was the loss of his life. Dargus caught wind of Yelara's dealings with Raliek and he was quickly castrated and murdered. Yelara Neerou was the first to find his lifeless body lying in a pool of blood on the floor of his quarters. Raoral's - A restaurant in the Yesdol District of New Plouton. Their brunch has received praise all around the city, and their Respari Omelettes are top quality, and reported to be the best in the outer rim. Red Dragon Society - Formed By Raxis L'Ygr in the year of 4ABY, the "Red Dragons" are an anonymous vigilante group designed to counteract the cruel actions of villainous crime families and the criminals that can be found within. Unseen and secretive, its members remain unknown to the public of New Plouton, and their headquarters is equally nonexistant. They aspire to one day have a chapter of the society in as many major systems as possible. Red Swirl, The - A very seedy bar in Arcadia. It was where Yelara had her final confrontation with Dargus Kandran, while her husband lurked in the shadows for her protection. Reisacat - A feline native to Tae'Karada. It is also a term commonly given to a somewhat flirtatious, lascivious, or wild young woman. Respari Omelettes - A delicacy made from the eggs of the Resparian Swoopbat. The eggs are quite large and one can often serve four people. Only Roaral's in the Yesdol District offers this speciality item on their menu, and it is their hottest selling meal, as well as most expensive. Riel's - A restaurant located in the Yallder District of New Plouton. They are quite famous for their bantha steaks and draw patrons from all over New Plouton for a taste. Riga - A planet near Tae'Karada. It was colonized by humans three hundred years ago, with a Tae'Karadan colony on its southern continent. It is a common stopping point for travellers looking to restock supplies. - S - Saellis - A planet in the outer rim near the Resga Cluster, one month from Tae'Karada through hyperspace. Scarlet Kestrel, The - Formerly called the Vengeance of Corellia, this is Liam and Yelara Zaneth's ship. It is an older Corellian YT-1760 transport. It once served as Liam and Yelara's home. (see also: Scarlet Kestrel) Scarlet Kestrel - This bird is found on the planet Corellia. They are an insectivorous species of birds that have a beautiful coat of scarlet plumage, hence the name. A romanticized view of these birds has developed due to their tendency to mate with one partner for life, a practice not seen in any other species of birds on Corellia. The males and females protect their partners with noble and valiant efforts, and some have said that when one of the mates in the bonded pair dies, the other mourns for months, singing the most hauntingly beautiful songs ever heard. After losing a partner, the surviving member never mates again. Yelara and Liam Zaneth named their ship after this particular bird, and also exchanged a pair of earrings in the shape of kestrels on their wedding day. To this day, they each wear one of the earrings as a symbol of their love and devotion. (see also: Scarlet Kestrel, The) Sebracat - A small feline commonly kept as a household pet; also frequently used as a term for a woman. Segrelat Tower - A freestanding structure located in New Plouton's Yesrin District. It is the highest point in all of New Plouton and has a view overlooking the entire city. Within, you can find numerous shopping facilities, offices, and some of the most exclusive restaurants in all of New Plouton. Shac'tae - A special form of training in the art of sexuality and heightening pleasure. Those who have mastered this discipline have the ability to make their lovemaking extend for hours. (see: Zale Tregat) Sira'zeil - An ancient Karadan word meaning "princess of my heart." It is a joining of the words sira, or princess, and zeil, the heart. Solstir'il - A Zeltron word meaning "star of my heart." Dani referred to Nieme as her solstir'il. Stash, Krieg - A spy hired by Dargus Kandran to surveil Liam and Yelara Zaneth during their honeymoon on Turren. He recorded all events - ranging from visits to local shops, to their passionate moment under a waterfall - and provided them to Kandran for a substantial fee. - T - Tae'Remok - The star system and sector in which Tae'Karada is located. It is known the Ralikane sector in the rest of the galaxy. Tafta Nut - A food item found exclusively on Corellia, but which is widely exported throughout the galaxy. It is roughly the size of a Corellian apple and rather oddly shaped. The outer shell is extremely hard and has a fuzzy covering; the nut itself is somewhat sweet and is often used in desserts. Tarell, Cadwin - Estranged husband of Kaysa Zenarr. His present whereabouts are unknown. Targeyve Lizard - A reptile found in Thanatos. They have a metre long tail and sharp claws on each foot. They are very tolerant to the scorching heat of the desert and feed on insects and, when available, carrion. Tarkayze Ale - A blend of ale made on Tae'Karada. Some of the underwater plants of the Tarkayve Sea are used in the brew, making a fairly mild beverage as far as ales go. Most people claim that the only beings who could get inebriated off Tarkayze Ale would be Jawas, or similar species with weaker constitutions. Tarkayze Sea - A large body of water to the east of Arcadia. During the time of the monarchy, the high prince would frequently take his pleasure ships out onto the waters. The sea is teaming with aquatic life and provides for much of the Karadan diet. The Tarkayze Sea is also the resting place of Dargus Kandran's pleasure ship. Thirad - The primary currency in Thanatos. They come in a variety of denominations, each with a qualifier to identify them. Se' for five. Ae' for ten. Ka' for twenty. Lim' for fifty. And, Lu' for one hundred. Tiesta Spice - A potent narcotic that is imported from the spice mines of Kessel. It is smoked like a cigarra and emits a sweet, fragrant odour when burned. Its immediate effects cause the user to experience an intense sense of euphoria, and is thought to have aphrodisiac qualities. Since the spice is in such great demand, it is quite costly to procure and is also quite illegal on Tae'Karada. Tilan Waterfowl - A flightless, aquatic species of bird found along lakes in the temperate parts of Tae'Karada. They are a culinary delicacy that only the affluent can afford to indulge in, and can be prepared in various ways, with roasted being the more preferred way. Toran, Gin - Ex-shipyard employee. He was Yelara's harshest critic when she was first made foreman on the flightdeck, and was punished for his impudence by having his arm torn off upon Dargus' command. He was fitted with a new cybernetic arm, but the grudge he held for Yelara after that drove him to take her hostage and attempt to murder her. Yelara was rescued, but only after being inflicted with many cuts and broken bones, and as for Gin, his location to this day is unknown. Trancemania - A nightclub with some of the best trance music and dance remixes ever made with the top notch lighting effects. The bars are all served by women. Trithin - A flower native to Tae'Karada. They come in many vibrant colours, but the blue variety are the most common. They grow in abundance in many gardens around Tae'Karada, and despite their beauty, they have razor sharp thorns that have pricked many the delicate finger. Triss - A planet where some smugglers stop in between runs. It's located about a week from Tae'Karada. They have some good cantinas near the starport, though they can get a little rough at times. Turren - A planet located five days from Tae'Karada. It is well known for its spectacular waterfalls and has become a favourite spot for honeymooners. Yelara and Liam Zaneth spent a week here after their wedding ceremony. - U - - V - - W - Wenderaan Spiced Ale - An ale from Rymod that is served with a mixture of cinnamon-like spices. Wetter - A slang term used by the natives of Thanatos to describe those who live in the "wet" lands - areas such as New Plouton and Arcadia. It is a common derogatory term used in the desert regions, and refers mainly to those from the city who revel in exploiting the native Karadans. "Whispers After Midnight" - A love song written by the popular musician, Merrick Braston. It was inspired by a night he spent with Kaysa Zenarr, and is going to be on his next album. He finally found the inspiration to complete the piece after reuniting with Kaysa.

Merrick Braston has one in his vast collection of instruments. - X - Xayled's Abyss - A more reputable bar located on the Drogen Shipyards. It features live jizz music and a variety of drinks imported from throughout the outer rim. Jae Dyn Brael and Yelara Neerou were banned from this establishment after causing a drunken raucous and skipping out on a tab of over 100 credits worth of fine liquor. - Y - - Z - |
