Physical Description:
Normal build, very pale due to the fact that he didn't come outside during his youth (due to the toxic conditions outside). He tries to keep himself in shape with exercises if he has the time.

Professional History:
He studied medicine at a university on Russ VII, before going for an extra specialisation in neurology on Commenor, after which he moved back to Russ VII to practice medicine. After two years he was implied in an illegal operation and he moved to Chimaeria to avoid being arrested.

Background:
He had a carefree childhood, insofar this is possible on a world where you need a breathing mask just to go outside (due to the pollution on the heavy industrialised world of Russ VII). His parents, both researchers at a local hospital, provided good for the family. He was very close with his one year older brother, and if you saw one, you could be sure the other wasn't far off.

As he got older, he started getting interested in sciences, just like his parents, but he wanted more, so he applied at a local university to become a doctor. He was accepted and did very well. He seemed to know instinctively where the problem was and how to treat it and he graduated with high honors. Not wanting to stop here, he applied for a specialisation in neurology, and he was accepted at the Commenor institute for neurological sciences.

It was his first trip of Russ VII and a real experience. For the first time he was able to walk outside without protective clothing, and he really liked neurology and surgery. He also liked Sarah LePage, a colleague from Chimaeria who also studied neurology. They had a very fun time together, but after two years, Sarah went back home. Vincenzo stayed for 2 more years before he too finished his degree and went back home.

He started working at a local hospital as neuro-surgeon, quickly becoming known as someone who could tackle the most complex neurological problems. Due to the high industrialisation and pollution on Russ VII, a lot of products were dumped routinely in the atmosphere that affected the nerves, so he had no shortage of work.

Besides his work, his brother introduced him into a group of people who thought that Russ VII should be cleaned up. It was mostly harmless, just writing some pamphlets about cleaning up the planet. It was something he really believed in, as he saw the results of the pollution daily in his practice. But then some of the people in the movement went further and started sabotaging factories and things like that. Vincenzo didn't join in that, but for the government enough was enough, and they came down on the whole group.

Finding the ground getting a bit too hot under his feet, Vincenzo decided that a change of atmosphere would be nice. Remembering what Sarah told him about Chimaeria, he decided to leave for that planet. His brother didn't manage to leave on time, and was killed in a police raid. As his parents had passed away a couple of years before, there was nothing to hold him on Russ VII, so he took all the money he had and left the planet for Chimaeria, hoping to find Sarah there.

He got work as doctor/researcher at the New Plouton Neuroscience Institute in the Yesopol district.

Personality:
He's very demanding professionally, but he doesn't ask anything from his staff he's not willing to do himself. He tolerates almost anything from patients, including things he won't tolerate otherwise. He has good bedside manner and is genuinely interested in his patient's welfare.

Form of Dress:
Professionally, you will almost always see him with a standard white lab coat. When off duty, it depends on the situation.

Abilities and Skills:
He's a good doctor and scientist, having a very good instinct for finding what's wrong with people. He also has a very good bedside manner. He is specialised in neurological surgery and toxicology, the latter like every doctor on Russ VII. In his off duty time, he likes working out and reading. He will also not say no to a night in a pub with a bunch of friends, except when he has surgery the next day.
