Tyriam Kat'Ritara is from the outer rim world of Ai'Kri, located in the Tae'Remok sector. His earliest memories are of a love for computers and technology. It was no great surprise that as he grew older, he was actually quite skilled in computer programming and repair. When he entered university, he also got a job working in one of the programming labs at a major corporation, Kai'Nemor Industrial. His talent was quickly recognized, and he soon found himself doing very well for himself, both academically and financially. And, then the Empire came.

When the Empire swept through the system, Ai'Kri wasn't spared their attention, though they did receive less attention than Tae'Karada. Ty had tried to stay out of the trouble, but events conspired against him. The Empire took control of Kai'Nemor, and he finally decided to flee. Had he not left, he would have been forced into the service of the Empire or put to death.

He fled to Tae'Karada, still a free system under the rule of High Prince Valreth. He found work on the Drogen Shipyards working as a flightdeck technician, specializing in computer repair and reprogramming. He also met some new friends there before the Empire took control. And, it wasn't long at all that Ty's sympathetic feelings toward the Rebellion brought him fully into their ranks.
