Tasia was born on Vadris 12, 264 AK in Yallder, New Plouton. She's always had a knack for repairwork, and during her early years, she worked in speeder repair shops for minimum wage. At the age of 22, Tasia immigrated to the newly launched shipyards above Tae'Karada and found a job working on one of the repair decks as a ship mechanic. Last year, after the foreman on another repair deck (Yelara Neerou) disappeared without a trace, Tasia was offered the position and accepted. She has been working there since then, keeping the flight deck operating smoothly and proving to the men that her gender has nothing to do with her abilities and her qualifications as a technician and their superior.

Tasia has a fairly amiable working relationship with station administrator Shrezade Anoran. However, she has been the target of one of Mrs. Anoran's many fits of anger during her tenure on the station. Most memorable among the incidents was when a fight broke out on the flight deck, and one of those involved accidentally released the docking clamps for one of the freighters moored there. It took some ingenious work on Tasia's end to get the ship back in its place, and to keep the man from being fired. He was a good, hard worker and the fight hadn't been his fault in the first place. In the end the incident was resolved, and only the man who started the fight lost his job.

During the Imperial occupation of the station, Tasia acted as a member of a secret rebellion underground based on Drogen. With the help of her friend, Ty Kat'Ritara, they succeeded in discovering a vulnerability in the Imps' shipboard computer systems that allowed them to seize control of the vessels. In the end it helped the Rebels conquer their opponents. After the Imperial occupation of the station, Tasia was reinstated as chief foreman of the repair bays, and reunited with her oft-time lover Lerrah Breijal, and has taken on another, unlikely bedfellow, station security officer Mathias "Walker" Coin.
