Professional History: He took her to a secluded part of Naboo to train, and there she began learning the ways of the Jedi. They wore no robes, carried no lightsabers except in their own camp, and made no mention of what they were to any outside. Tala began learning how to use her lightsaber right away and is fairly competent with it. She has a wide range of talent with the Force, but still has much to learn before she can be considered a Jedi. Background The meeting was a shock to Kai and Danri Sorenne. The old man claimed to be a Jedi Knight. He also claimed that Tala was strong in the Force and could be as well. They were uncertain what to do. Allowing their daughter to train as a Jedi could be construed as a death warrant. But, with news of the atrocities coming in every day, how could they deny their daughter her legacy. After a week's deliberation and several decisions to both allow and disallow the training, they settled on the decision to allow Master Andro to train their daughter. Master Andro was a good teacher. He was even caring enough to allow Tala's parents to visit frequently as long as it didn't interfere with the training. It never did. Every time they came to visit, their pride at their daughter's accomplishments grew even more. Growing up without other children around made life fairly lonely for Tala, but between Master Andro and her parents some of the loneliness was alleviated. The training was difficult and rigourous, but Tala was young and full of energy. She learned much about the history of the Jedi and how to use the powers that were within herself. She soon found that her skills with telekinesis were where her main strength lay. She was also taught a martial art called Ta'Sae'Kordo. Since they were in seclusion and could not easily venture out wearing their lightsabers, the artform was developed by Master Andro to use the inherent benefits of the Force in unarmed combat. Master Andro was pleased with her progress, though he cautioned her not to take too much pride in her accomplishments. As far as training went, she was beyond where she would have been had she been learning at the Temple. Having a single dedicated teacher and very little else to do allowed them to advance at an alarming rate. Andro was cautious of pushing too quickly however; he didn't want to get too far ahead of life's natural changes. When news of the Empire's fall reached Naboo, Tala and Andro were delighted. They celebrated the new freedom at the royal palace with Queen Kirial and Tala's parents. It was a joyous time indeed. Two weeks later, Andro had a dream. A new Temple stood in the Outer Rim, a Temple being run by old friends. The Jedi still lived, and that was the place he knew he must take Tala. Talara's parents weren't entirely pleased with the idea, but they knew it was best for their daughter's future. Promises were made to return as often as possible to visit. And Talara Sorenne and Jedi Master Andro Ki'Ayalin set off for the location of Master Andro's vision, the planet Tae'Karada.
Personality: Tala is her own worst critic. When she is unable to accomplish a task, she usually takes it harder than she should. Still, she manages to get over that easily and get on with living. She's a great friend to those around her. She hasn't had many friends, but she's hoping that the new life on Tae'Karada will provide her the chance to have many.
