Physical Description
By anyone's standards, Oot Kovan is a beautiful woman. She moves with a stately grace mixed with lithe sensuality. Her body is kept in good shape, and she always wears clothing that accentuates her physique. Her eyes are the colour of Ryloth emeralds and her skin is a pale reddish hue.

Professional History:
Oot's life of crime began the day she left her homeworld of Ryloth. Once out in the vastness of the galaxy, she was forced to fend for herself. She learned skills that allowed her to survive on the streets, and over the course of her first year on her own had managed to learn a lot about the criminal underworld, and the way the various crime syndicates vied for power. Several years later, taking that which she'd learned, she started the Tarabassic Syndicate, one of the first run by a woman.

Background
Oot Kovan's past is quite colourful. She left home to see adventure in the bigger galaxy, but found more than she could handle. When she was sixteen years old, only a year away from Ryloth, she was caught and enslaved by a man named Soril Kendrick. He branded her as his property, and treated her poorly. She was his whenever he wanted her, and when he didn't he lent her to those with whom he wished to seek favour.

Her time there was miserable, but thoughts of revenge carried her through. Eventually, it was at the hands of a Gungan that she was able to get free. Kendrick was trying to get another businessman, a man named Robe Soratz, to enter into an agreement with him, and used Oot as a means to make the deal that much more tempting. Oot's saviour, a warrior named Kambra Gant, had some sort of vendetta against Soratz, and happened to strike when she was with him. The gungan had a kind heart and rescued Oot from her plight, and they soon became friends.

It was with Kambra's help that Oot started the Tarabassic Syndicate, and he became her right hand and head of security. The syndicate, while not one of the galaxy's largest, was growing fast, and soon had attracted unwanted attention. Oot transferred her organization to Tae'Karada where they could make good use of the planet's neutrality.

However, Tae'Karada was also the primary area of operation for a man named Dargus Kandran. The man reminded Oot far too much of Kendrick, and with the help of Liam and Yelara Zaneth, managed to rid the galaxy of the menace forever. Or so she thought, though, Oot does not realize that Dargus Kandran still lives.

Personality:
Despite her position at the head of a criminal syndicate, Oot is a kind woman to those she cares for. She is also a lonely woman. Fearing the betrayal common to criminal types, she has taken to using droids as her primary type of minion. On her ship, there are few people, but she has not yet been betrayed from within.

Because of her past, she has a weakness for helping those women who have been hurt by a man seeking to control them. It was this very thing that led her into a fast friendship with Yelara Zaneth.

The Nighada'Sto, a heavy cruiser

Form of Dress:
Oot commonly wears two types of clothing: long flowing dresses, cut in a modern fashion; or a pair of breeches and fashionably cut jacket. Either style is designed to show off her beauty, and does so remarkably well.

Negotiation, Diplomacy, and the running of a criminal syndicate. She's also accomplished with a blaster. Though, she rarely utilizes the talent, she's also a rather exquisite dancer.
