The Lynciles

The Lynciles are a carnivorous species of obvious canine decent. They seem fit to live on the harsh planet of Ultid Undecimus. Because of the fact that Ultid Undecimus only has about 3 hours of sunlight the Lynciles are exceptional vision at night which is when they do most of their hunting.

Throughout the history of the Lynciles their have been many wars between the various tribes. Mostly these wars lasted about a month and were normally extremely bloody. One a scientist from the Republic came to Ultid Undecimus he was shocked to see how bloody their wars were. He also reported that one Lyncile told him "peace never solves anything. Your enemy will think you a coward and you will have hide your face in shame from your pups."

Lyncile males have often times been known to take two wives and normally have very large families. In each tribe there is usually an alpha male and a beta male yet in certain tribes there have been known to be alpha females although this has rarely been reported.

The Lynciles also appear to have no real language of their own. Theirs is mostly a series of growls, snarls, whines, and howls. Yet for some odd reason they have accepted Basic as one of their native tongues.

One of the other noteworthy aspects of the Lynciles are their strength have been compared to that of Wookiees and many consider the two races to be distant relatives. Their claws are incredibly sharp and allow them to climb almost any surface except for metal of course. By far their most noticeable trait is that of a dangerous rage they can go to. When in this rage they will attack anything and anyone in their way. They can only be stopped if they succeed in the destruction of their attack or it they are stunned or killed.

Despite for their strength when the Empire came the Lynciles did not stand a chance. Many of their tribes were killed and some were taken as slaves. However the Empire only remained on Ultid Undecimus for about a month, they saw no real reason why they should keep the planet under control.
