Physical Description:

As a Barabel it is understandable that Lorgal is a large and imposing figure. He has the usual characteristics of his race, the retractable talons, needle-sharp teeth, and the like. His scales are black and he takes deep pride in polishing them to an obsidian gleam every morning. He's also big. Not just Barabel big, but so big that you could miss him in a crowd because you're looking at him. He doesn't stand so much as he looms. In ancient days, he'd be a living riot shield.

Professional History:

Growing up on Barab I is an education unto itself. Simply surviving into adulthood among the rest of your broodmates can qualify you to join any military organization. Lorgal was picked up early by an Imperial Slaving party, at a brief stop on Nar Shadda, however, he killed his captors and escaped where he became a freelance bodyguard.

Background:

Lorgal was born on Barab I as was quickly recognized as the largest of his broodmates. After surviving the fives years into adulthood, as well as an attempted slavery attempt by the Empire, Lorgal found himself on Nar Shadda doing freelance bodyguard work for the Hutts. He decided that he didn't like working for the Hutts and moved onto Corellia where he became muscle for a minor crime family. Still not satisfied, he followed a member of the family to the Tae'Remok system and the Drogen Shipyards.

He spent several years at the Shipyards doing various menial tasks until he left, still unsatisfied with his lot in life. Shortly after arriving on Tae'Karada, he was picked up by a man named Rylaa Lyssander to be his personal bodyguard for a short period of time. It has since become a long term contract. Lorgal likes the short, fat criminal and plans on staying with him for the long haul.

Personality:

Lorgal is rather quiet and doesn't like to speak his mind until he has something important to say. This leads many people into thinking that he is stupid, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Thoughts come to him like two icebergs heading towards each other. It may take some time till the climax, but when they connected, great things happen. If given the opportunity, Lorgal can be on the hedonistic side. When not on duty, he likes to party or just do nothing an watch the holovid.

Form of Dress:

While on duty Lorgal likes the unassuming look of a business suit. Finding one in his size can become a major hassle, however, so the majority of his are tailor made. Since working for Rylaa, this has not been a problem. Lorgal as a set of ablative armor that was made for him a few years ago. He rarely wears it because of its size and bulkiness. When out in town or just doing his own thing, Lorgal dresses WAY down, usually into a tank-top and slacks.

Superhuman Powers and Abilities:

As a Barabel, Lorgal's thick scales can easily stop a blaster bolt. His strength is only surpassed by Wookiees and Herglecs in the galaxy. Lorgal has retractable talons that extend from his fingernails. They are made from the same material as his scales and can cut as fine as any vibroblade.

Abilities and Skills:

As a professional Bodyguard, Lorgal can easily spot hidden weapons on people. He has self-trained himself in street-fighting and has an excellent command of Basic. His favorite weapon is a heavy repeating blaster that is normally called "crew served". He personally modified the fusion cell so that it can be worn on his back. Lorgal doesn't care about accuracy as much as he cares about 'rate of fire'.
