Physical Description: Kaysa is of thin build, and although she is of average height, she walks with her head held high and has impeccable posture, which only makes her seem taller. She has medium length, wavy brown hair and almond-shaped brown eyes. She has been described by some as being an elegant, classical beauty, but she just says it's their way of calling her plain.

Professional History: Kaysa started smuggling when she was 18 standard years old. She was rather successful at the trade, and soon started up her own smuggling ring, naming it Zenarr Inc. She passed off the company as a legitimate one dealing in trade and transport of goods, and it has been thriving successfully for almost 5 years, despite the odd competitor or two.

Background Kaysa was born on Bespin and lived there until she was 18. During her 17th year, Kaysa made a mistake that would follow her for the rest of her life. She was young and wild, she yearned for excitement, but she knew if she remained on Bespin, she would continue to be burdened by her mistake. The moment she seized the opportunity, Kaysa dumped her problem onto her parents and took the first transport off of Bespin, traversing the galaxy and becoming a successful smuggler, which seemed an appropriate profession for her, since she'd been involved in petty thievery since she was a child. 5 years ago, Kaysa happened upon Chimaeria - a highly protected planet, away from the Empire's reach - which she decided was a perfect place to set up and run her own smuggling ring, Zenarr Inc.

She had been running her company somewhat successfully since then, but when the Imperials invaded the planet, she found it difficult to keep her business thriving. With the crackdowns on illegal activities that ensued, Zenarr Inc. was the perfect target for the Imperials' raids. To keep the money flowing through her bank account, Kaysa had to resort to desperate measures. She targeted the local spaceport owner, Rennor Karradas, in an attempt to get rich. She seduced him and quickly had him offerring marriage to her, as well as partial ownership of the local spaceport.

Despite being engaged, Kaysa didn't cease her nocturnal activities. Everynight, she would wander through the streets, going from bar to bar and using her sexual appeal to lure men into her home for the night. One night, she happened upon the White Noise, and also happened her eyes upon the charming Merrick Braston. He sang his way into her heart, but Kaysa feared letting him into her bed. Her inability to trust drove Merrick away and to punish herself for it, she continued with her destructive lifestyle. She went to bar after bar, bringing home strange men, and one day, decided to bring along one of her employees, Maeren Shivral. Kaysa picked up a man at the bar, and brought him home, with Shiv tagging along. She hadn't planned on it at the time, but Kaysa asked Shiv to give a demonstration, one thing led to another, and suffice it to say, Shiv spent the night in Kaysa's bed.

During their next night together, Kaysa and Shiv went to another bar in Yallder and while there, met with Zale Tregat. Initially, Zale was Shiv's date, but as the night progressed, Zale's eye was completely on Kaysa. While Shiv entertained herself with the other man she'd brought home, Zale and Kaysa got better acquainted on her couch.

After that night, Shiv and Kaysa got into a heated argument and Kaysa threw her out of her home, fired her, and left her without a cred. For the next four months, Kaysa punished herself further for first pushing away Merrick, then Shiv. She thrust herself into a life of utterly abusive and degrading sex, until Zale Tregat showed up in a dark alleyway one night and took her home with him. She spent the next day with him, and althought they had their minor squabbles, she and Zale got somewhat close, but before they could get to know eachother any better, Merrick Braston showed up on her doorstep. After admitting to him all her inhibitions, and most of her secrets, they reconciled and made love for the first time.

No sooner than she had reconciled with Merrick did she happen upon a destitute and dirt covered Shiv begging for creds on the street. Kaysa's resolve was broken by the sight, and as she grovelled at Shiv's feet in front of a street full of passersby, she begged for forgiveness. Shiv, being the kind soul she is, granted Kaysa that for which she asked, and once again, Kaysa welcomed Shiv into her home.

The homecoming itself lasted only two days, for the following night, Kaysa escorted Shiv to a show at the White Noise. She introduced Shiv to her favourite singer, Merrick Braston, and Kaysa also introduced him as her boyfriend. Once Shiv overcame her shock and amazement, they all three had a night out, which ended with Kaysa getting them kicked out of a very prestigious restaurant, and Merrick and Kaysa consummating their relationship in an elevator.

The rest of the evening, Kaysa spent wandering through New Plouton, while Merrick and Shiv were left alone in Kaysa's apartment. When Kaysa returned home, she was displeased to find Shiv clutching Merrick, as well as Shiv's panties lying in his lap. The next morning, Kaysa sought revenge for something she wasn't even certain happened. She hired her associate to have Shiv brutally raped and beaten. The plan, fortunately failed after in a drunken stupor, Kaysa revealed her plan to Zale during an encounter with him. He drugged her and left her unconscious while he took measures to rescue Shiv.

Left in a darkened room, strapped to a chair, Kaysa was forced to face the consequences of her actions. Zale tried to bring into focus the severity of her actions, but it was Shiv's appearance, still battered and shaken from her ordeal, that was the turning point for Kaysa. Despite all she'd put her through, Shiv forgave Kaysa and professed her love for her. Knowing she was loved by so many and was on the verge of destroying it all, Kaysa finally broke down and resolved herself to change her ways.

After explaining the entire situation to Merrick, and after figuring out exactly how their relationship would function in its present state, the three of them decided to stick together and with Merrick and Shiv by her side, Kaysa knew she could overcome the obstacles that would stand in the way of her conversion and that the three of them would live an uneventful, happy life together.

Until Rennor was murdered.

During a night out with Zale and Shiv, as well as their new acquaintance Ithea Tass, Kaysa and Zale were arrested for the murder of Rennor. They were let out on probation while the evidence was reviewed, at which time they found comfort in each other's arms and in Zale's bed. The next day, however, Zale and Kaysa had yet another falling out and she fled to her office at Zenarr Inc. Upon arriving there, Kaysa was met with the product of the work her demons had performed through her. Vrax was in her chair, awaiting her collaboration in a new plot they could hatch against their enemies. The sight of him sent Kaysa into a rage and the ensuing argument ended with a frightening threat from Vrax's lips. Before he could execute his scheme, one directed at Shiv, Kaysa had her flee Tae'Karada and find safety until she could diffuse the situation. Unfortunately, upon Shiv's departure, she was abducted in space by Dargus Kandran's henchmen. Shiv was a pivotal figure in Kandran's plot to regain power and take over Tae'Karada. He wanted the spaceport and with Rennor's death, it would become Kaysa's.

She and Zale were re-arrested for Rennor's murder, and while in prison, they reconciled again. They spent a week in the Throntas penal facility where they were faced with rapists and murderers, and Dargus Kandran. He visited Kaysa one day and offered her freedom for control of the spaceport. In return, he would release Shiv. There was no real choice for Kaysa and she accepted his offer, but was forced to leave Zale behind...but not for long.

Once Shiv was returned and they had their reunion, Kaysa cooperated with Moril Astren to find evidence that would prove Zale's innocence. They found that evidence in a confession from Vrax. Zale was released the same day, but he barely had time to enjoy his freedom before Kaysa misled him into entering another prison of a different sort. To keep Dargus from gaining ownership of the spaceport, Kaysa married Zale, and hence, all her assets reverted to him, including the spaceport. After that whirlwind week, Kaysa and her now unconventional family had time to grow accustomed to the new addition to their lives in the form of a very imposing, powerful, and handsome crimelord.

Despite the lingering threat of Dargus Kandran, they were all pretty much happy with life and love in general, until a simple masquerade ball turned deadly. Unbeknownst to all the crimelords gathered in revelry within Weibran the Hutt's mansion, Dargus Kandran moved among them, wearing the mask of a surgically altered face. Although his appearance had changed, his desire for vengeance against Kaysa and all who loved her remained. After threatening Shiv but leaving her otherwise unharmed, Dargus turned his attentions to Kaysa, sitting alone in the courtyard and admiring the stars. The peaceful scene was shattered when he approached and she discovered his true identity. Dargus pulled a vibrodagger on Kaysa, with no true aim to use it, not intentionally, at least. After a round of verbal assaults, the match ended with a violent explosion from within the mansion. Dargus stumbled forward and accidentally embedded the vibrodagger in Kaysa's abdomen. Having accomplished more than he set out to do that evening, Dargus Kandran fled, leaving Kaysa dying in the grass. She was found by Shiv and rushed to the hospital, where she remained in a mild coma for four days.

Upon awakening, Kaysa was dealt another blow when the child she suspected she'd been pregnant with miscarried due to the trauma of her injuries. All that, however, was quickly forgotten for a time when her son, Keeve Zenarr, showed up at her hospital bedside. Although he was slightly distant at first, Kaysa worked hard to finally be a mother for the son she abandoned, and she almost accomplished it as well.

All was slowly getting back to normal after that, until Kaysa's resentment towards Dargus became too much to bear. Frustrated at his constant interference in their lives, Kaysa set out to murder Dargus. She almost succeeded too, until Dargus overpowered Kaysa and came close to killing her again. Saved by Oot Kovan's Jedi acquaintance, Liam Zaneth, along with his friends, Kaysa was returned home to mend what she had broken. Her relationship with Merrick had suffered most of all, and to ensure she didn't lose him again, they decided on a vacation to Vendra, and from there, Bespin. While on Kaysa's homeworld, she tricked yet another man into marrying her; this time, it was Merrick.

They returned to Tae'Karada shortly thereafter as man and wife, and although they should have been allowed to celebrate their joyous union, they were met with only heartache. Dargus Kandran had imposed himself upon their lives again, this time abducting both Shiv...and Keeve. Kaysa was almost heartbroken until Zale, with the assistance of Oot Kovan and Weibran the Hutt, launched an assault on Dargus' cruiser and rescued Shiv and her ex-lover, Lerrah. Keeve, however, was not among them. Kaysa was extremely hurt over the fact that he had chosen to stay with Dargus over her, but worst of all, Dargus had used his technology to advance Keeve's growth, making him almost as old as Kaysa herself. After this, she was met with the struggle to cope with the loss of her little boy and would have succeeded eventually if it had not been for her old employer, and new enemy, Vrax Draydge. Released from the Throntas penal facility, Vrax finally sought to realize his fantasies involving Kaysa by abducting her, and subjecting her to brutal beatings and rape. She was rescued after almost a week by Shiv, along with Zale and his men, and returned home to heal physically and emotionally.

While faced with the task of overcoming the horrifying memories of her ordeal, she was also forced to come to terms with the fact that her son was never coming back to her. With the love of Zale, Shiv, and Merrick to sustain her, Kaysa slowly began recovering, but still remained plagued with thoughts of Keeve in Dargus' keeping. While Kaysa pined over her son, Shiv proceeded in secret to contact Keeve and made efforts to lure him away from Dargus' hold. During a trip Kaysa, Merrick, and Zale took to Coruscant, Shiv reconciled with Keeve and the two spent four days together getting reacquainted, but the happiness ended when Kaysa, Merrick, and Zale unexpectedly returned to catch the two of them in bed. Kaysa banished Shiv from her life and stormed out. They were reunited, however, after Zale's brothers, who were bent on revenge over Zale's acquisition of the family fortune, came to Tae'Karada to carry out their vengeance. They brutalized Shiv after a show at the Palace of Stars, and upon hearing about it, Kaysa came directly to her side. They reconciled, and slowly Keeve began warming up to Kaysa, especially considering he was to be spending more time around her as Shiv's new husband. Time passed, and the family had their difficulties, many arising from the conflict between Zale and Keeve. During one encounter, Zale was shot with Keeve's blaster and spent time in the hospital having his arm mended. It was then the doctor confirmed what Kaysa suspected: she was again pregnant, however she said not a word to anyone. There was too much to contend with and she didn't wish to divert anyone's attention away from solving their troubles by revealing her pregnancy. So, it remained her secret.

The night before Shiv's wedding, Nieme Yaresh and Dani - two Jedi Padawans fallen to the dark side - broke into the family's home and tormented Shiv and Kaysa. Merrick and Zale attempted to stop them, but Merrick was almost killed in the process, as was Dani at Shiv's hands. The night before the wedding was spent in the hospital while Merrick recovered, and the wedding itself was plagued with terror as Nieme Yaresh came to return to Shiv in-kind the suffering she'd inflicted upon Dani. Dargus Kandran, through no good grace on his part, managed to dissuade Nieme from killing Maeren, if only to satisfy the sexual urges inspired by the young Jedi. It was that night Kaysa decided she needed to get off Tae'Karada, for her protection, but mainly for her unborn child's. So, along with Shiv, Keeve, and Kallia Brael, Kaysa departed that night for Agarra, and has remained there since waiting for all the dangers that threaten them on Tae'Karada to be dealt with by Zale.

Personality: Kaysa is a smart businesswoman and a very manipulative woman. She can be rather vicious and has a volatile temper, especially when drunk, something anyone who's ever known her can attest to. The one thing she cannot tolerate is others infringing upon her territory, that being her smuggling ring. She's very overprotective of her creation and will do anything to make certain no one gets their hands on it. Kaysa can change moods rather quickly, and has little control over her emotions. Kaysa is vengeful, hateful, and spiteful when things don't go her way, but she can be sweet and personable if the situation calls for her to be. Above all else, Kaysa is as greedy as they come. Her life revolves around credits and the only thing she is interested in is how to get more in the fastest possible time. It is this greed that drives her very being, and which also makes her quite a selfish, self-absorbed woman who has difficulty caring for anyone but herself.

Form of Dress: Kaysa prefers a simple form of dress. When she's working, she wears almost conservative clothing, and in the past, when she would often go out and enjoy the nightlife of New Plouton, she preferred showing as much flesh as she can. Now, as an expectant mother, her choice of attire is tamer.
