Family:
Unknown, Liam is an orphan. Liam is also married to Yelara Zaneth, with whom he has a son, Va'Lesh Zaneth. He is also involved with his wife's lover, Kallia Brael.

Physical Description:
Liam Zaneth is an imposing man when he needs to be. He is solidly built, and keeps his body toned with daily workouts and a life of running from the Empire. His hair is a dark brown, though he used to dye it black while walking the path of darkness. His eyes, bright blue and smiling, are always wary and watching. In most light, they glow with an iridescence. He is quick to smile, revealing perfect teeth. His smile is disarming in its sincerity, and never given in deceit. When Liam smiles, it is genuine.

Physically, it cannot be denied he is a very attractive and charismatic man. He is always impeccably dressed, taking great care in his appearance.

Background:
Liam was found by a Jedi Knight by the name of Tal Dan Laeken when he was very young. The Force was strong in the young boy, and Tal Dan decided to train him. They trained hard in the Outer Rim, away from the prying eyes of the Emperor and his agents. One day, Padawan and Master returned to Corellia for supplies. It was there, they ran into Darth Vader and a squad of Stormtroopers. Tal Dan and Liam ran, hoping to escape the Imperial pursuit. The boy was unable to get away, cornered in an alley by the Dark Lord of the Sith. In the end, Vader managed to tempt the boy away from the Jedi Master. Tal Dan escaped with his life, and Liam Zaneth returned to Coruscant with Vader.

Vader continued Liam's training, instructing the boy in the darkest uses of the Force. He was a good student, and his anger fueled his strength. Within only a couple years, the boy was ready to be used. He cast off his old name, and took a new one to signify his life-change as a master of the dark forces of the universe. He became known as Kace Mordin, a name to be feared by all who claimed to be Jedi. Vader and the Emperor set him loose to wipe out the rest of the Jedi. He scoured the Outer Rim, eliminating Jedi Knights as he mercilessly tracked them. He sought Tal Dan Laeken, driven to destroy the Master who had abandoned him, allowed him to be consumed by hate and rage, but the Jedi Master had gone into deeper hiding.

It took many years of searching, but he finally did find his old master. The battle between them was fierce. It lasted over an hour as master and student sought to destroy each other. In the end, Kace cut his master down. The rage within him only grew after Tal Dan's death. With his task finished, he returned on his mission for the Empire: the elimination of all Jedi from the galaxy.

One day, Kace, along with two other Dark Jedi trained by Vader, came upon a pair of Jedi hiding on Restive IV. The three Dark Jedi moved in, lightsabers ready to strike down the Light. As they fought, Kace had an epiphany, a realization of the wrongness of what he did. All the pain and hatred roiling within seemed to open, and drift away as vapour. He knew that somehow, the Light had reclaimed him. He turned against his Dark brothers, and fought with the Jedi. The fight did not last much longer as he easily cut down his former companions. The Jedi bid him to join them, and fight against the Empire. He shook his head and told them he could no longer fought for Dark or Light. He would fight for what he felt inside, taking the actions he felt just. He named himself the Grey Jedi, and left them.

He could not keep the promise to help no other for long. Soon, he found himself helping those around him, cleansing himself of the darkness. He claimed to take no sides, but inside knew he was fighting for the Rebellion. He knew he wanted to bring down the Emperor and Vader for what they had done to him, what they had made him do to countless others.

A raid on on Imperial stronghold left his ship badly in need of repairs. The nearest planet where he could make repairs was Chimaeria. He limped his way there, making it barely and put in at the orbital shipyards. His life changed the moment he stepped off the ship. Several of the shipyard workers were trying to fleece him of all he had for the repairs, and things were turning bad. But, then Yelara Neerou stepped into the fray, and calmed the churning waters. Kace was immediately taken by her, and together they started the repairs on his ship.

It didn't take long before Kace realized that his feelings for Yelara went deeper than he could have ever imagined. But there were problems in that. Yelara still mourned the loss of her lover, Jae Dyn Brael, who had left her and Chimaeria behind. Compounding the problem was Dargus Kandran, the local crimelord and thorn in the side. It seemed like Kandran had a hand in everything, including Yelara. He had practically made her his concubine, and wouldn't let anyone near her. Fearful for Kace's life, she kept him at a distance despite the feelings growing between them. They both knew there was a love developing there, but both rejected it because of Dargus's hold over Yelara's life.

One day, as he made repairs on his ship, Kace noticed a young girl in the shipyards who was strong in the Force. He approached her, and offered her help in getting away from whatever chased her. He gave her a place to sleep and some food, and found her name was Elisia Melouet.

He helped to get her down to the planet, where Dargus Kandran once again intruded into Kace's life. The incident almost got them killed, but they escaped with their lives. Unfortunately, Dargus still lived. Kace agreed to train Elisia, and they shared an apartment on the shipyards where he could instruct her.

Yelara was never far from Kace's thoughts though, much to Elisia's dismay. Knowing that Yelara was out of his reach, Kace allowed himself to explore his growing affection for Elisia.

One day, as Kace worked on his ship, Yelara came to him with a favour. Her grandmother was sick, and she needed transport to Corellia. Kace agreed without hesitation, and they were underway within an hour. Being confined within the starship, their feelings for each other became too much, and Yelara and Kace ended up making love. It was Kace's first time, and it was everything he hoped it would be. There were a few rough patches with the triangle Kace had placed himself in, but in the end, his heart belonged to Yelara.

On the return trip to Chimaeria, Yelara asked Kace to marry her. He accepted without hesitation. On Saris 15, they were married in a small ceremony on Akaphael. Before the ceremony, Kace made the decision to change his name to his birth name, rather than the one he had taken as a Dark Jedi. The happy couple then took their honeymoon on the planet of Turren, where they found that Yelara was expecting their first child. They celebrated by having marathon sex around the planet.

With the help of Oot Kovan, a crimelord operating in the Tae'Remok system, Liam and Yelara planned and executed the death of Dargus Kandran. Staging an assault against his cloaked pleasure ship, the crimelord and nemesis was cast into the Tarkayze Sea. His death was widely celebrated.

Without Kandran in their lives, Liam and Yelara were free to live their life in peace...until Oot Kovan required a favour of them. At her bidding, they returned to Tae'Karada once more to help Oot spy on a rival crimelord. During their time there, Yelara was reunited with Kallia Brael, and soon the trio had formed a unique relationship together. Shortly after Kallia's return, Liam stumbled upon the ruins of an ancient temple in the forests east of New Plouton. He received a Force inspired vision, and began converting the old ruin into what would soon become the new Jedi Temple.

Praeda 25 saw the birth of Va'Lesh Zaneth, Liam and Yelara's son. It was one of the happiest moments of his life, and served to deepen the love he feels for Yelara.

Personality:
Liam has possessed many varying personalities during his life. From wide-eyed Padawan, to ruthless Jedi Hunter, to Wanderer. Despite the darkness that lingers, he still has a big heart and cannot keep himself from helping those who need it. He is honest in his dealings with people, and tries to force himself to resolve disputes peacefully when he can. He knows he can kill with a look, and it scares him as he fights to retain balance. He has complete control over his powers, but fights to keep control of his dark emotions.

To those he cares for, he is loyal and protective. He will use even the darkest of his powers to keep them safe, and normally before he would use them to protect himself. He holds an endless love for Yelara Zaneth, his wife, and will do anything and everything to keep her and their son safe. She is everything to him, and he will stop at nothing to protect her.

When Liam is angry, it can be scary for those to which it is directed. There have been some who claimed, with all his beauty, all he needed were wings, and he would be the perfect Angel of Death. Kace would only smile, and tell them he was no angel.

Since meeting and then marrying Yelara, Liam smiles much more often than he used to. Before Yelara, he never knew joy.

Vehicle of Choice:
Liam owns a YT-1760 transport. He renamed it from the Vengeance of Corellia to the Scarlet Kestrel just before his wedding. The Kestrel's old, but still in good condition. It's been modified to hold military-grade shields, and heavier armaments. When on the surface of a planet, he'll use a speeder, a swoop, or his own feet.

Form of Dress:
Liam's normal day-to-day dress, is a pair of leather pants adorned with buckles and straps that seem to serve no real purpose, but look very stylish. He wears a high-necked jacket of black leather over a shirt of Malastare rayon, also colored black. His black boots come to just below the knee. Over the whole thing, he wears a heavy black cloak. His two lightsabers hang from the belt at his waist.

Superhuman Powers and Abilities
Kace is a former Jedi Padawan and Dark Jedi. He it working toward his redemption, but slowly. He has the speed and agility commonly found in the Jedi. He has trained hard in the Jedi arts, and can perform many of the feats common to the Jedi. He can move objects with his mind, affect the minds of others, see the future and past in visions, enhancing his body to superhuman levels. At the feet of Darth Vader, he learned all too well how to crush a man's trachea with a thought. He shares a bond with Yelara. Through it they can sense each other's feelings and moods.

Abilities and Skills:
Kace is a decent pilot. When things really heat up though, he doesn't really have the experience and skills found in great pilots. If he had not become a Jedi, he could have easily traveled with one of the circuses circulating the empire.
