Physical Description:
Cailin is an attractive young woman with dark hair and eyes. From time to time, she varies her appearance (currently she's dyed her bangs red). She doesn't smile often, but when she does it seems to completely alter her appearance. She is a very attractive woman, but keeps much of the troubles that have found her bottled up inside.

Professional History:
Cailin's professional life started at a very young age. Her talent with the Force was discovered by Jedi Master Yoda one year as he ventured away from Coruscant, seeking out younglings who appeared to be sensitive to the flow of the Force.

She was brought back to the Jedi Temple, and began her training. She learned the basics of sensing and controlling the Force, learning what it meant to be a Jedi and to be a guardian of peace.

It didn't last. As the Sith moved against the Jedi, Cailin's world was turned upside down.

Background:
Cailin Fawkes was born in Coronet on Corellia, her family a mystery in her life at this point. She has vague memories of her mother, and a recurring memory of an older brother. All of that family disappeared in the form of a small, wizened Jedi Master.

Cailin was taken from her home and brought to Coruscant where she would train to become a Jedi Knight, one of the guardians of peace in the galaxy. She was too young to truly realize how difficult the life ahead was, but something in it excited her.

The joy of learning to become a Jedi, however, did not last. The Sith, a growing power of darkness that would eventually reveal themselves to become Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, saw to it that the hopeful future of Jedi Knight Cailin Fawkes would never happen. So many of the other younglings had their lives and hopes similarly dashed. Very few made it out, made it to safety. Cailin almost didn't, but Masters Ali Gallia and Kit Fisto saw to the hiding of several of the younglings.

The learning process had begun and it would never end. There were times, however, when Cailin wished that it might have. She had been torn from her family, taken away to become something larger than herself. But, then that had been taken away as well. Now, she was left with nothing, on a planet far different than anything she had ever seen before, and alone.

She knew the danger her Force sensitivity would bring if it were discovered, so -- even at such a young age -- she kept the truth about herself hidden, her promise to Master Gallia still strong in her heart.

The lessons that had begun in the Jedi Temple were always close in her mind, and she continued them, using the Force within herself to find her path. The path she found, however, diverged at some point. The guardian she could have been never emerged. The knight she might have been faded. She used her skills to help herself, to survive. She wasn't a bad person...she couldn't be a bad person. The bitterness and loss, however, led her down a path that left her in a grey area, a dangerous area. She teeters on that edge, playing both sides and managing to keep herself from falling. She fears what one day may happen to herself, and the fears of her childhood, of a darkness that hunted her kind, may have been the only thing holding her back from the abyss.

After news of the Empire's fall reached her on her home of Ord Mantell, Cailin found passage off the planet now that the reasons for her forced seclusion had been eliminated. As she moved around, she sought work where she could find it.

Personality:
Cailin can be moody and dark after having watched her life pulled from beneath her. In recent years, the gloom has pulled back. Now, on rare occasions, she'll smile when her mood lightens. Due to a lifetime of hiding, she keeps to herself on most occasions and carefully keeps her secrets.

Form of Dress:
Cailin doesn't dress like a Jedi. She doesn't necessarily think of herself as a Jedi, and feels no compelling need to dress like one. Though, she still has her Jedi robes. Her style of clothing is comfortable without being too revealing. She prefers to not draw too much attention to herself in most occasions. Despite that though, she is still human, she is attractive, and sometimes enjoys feeling like an attractive woman. She'd never admit that though.

Superhuman Powers and Abilities
From her early training and with years of self-study, Cailin is a fairly accomplished Jedi, with skills on par with an experienced Padawan learner. She has crafted her own lightsaber and carries it openly on her belt. The blade of her weapon is blue.

Abilities and Skills:
In the last year, Cailin has picked up numerous skills from starship piloting to the basics of freight handling, and even how to use a blaster. Much of her recent employment has been mercenary and protection work.
