Physical Description
Shala stands a little over 5'6" feet in height and has an athletic build. She has shoulder length black hair (sometimes cut short), and dark brown eyes that almost appear black within almost any light. During field work, her features always remain hidden within the helmet of the dreaded mask of the Mandalorian Armor.

Professional History:
Shala served the Empire as a member of the Elite, the Emperor's Hand. She quickly gained a reputation amongst the High Ranks of the Empire as a perfectionist and well successful operative. She has trained both in the Empire's Military and the Royal Guard to advance as one of the most resourceful members of the Emperor's Hand. But with the fall of the Empire, she has found another avenue to channel her skills as a Bounty Hunter.

Background
Shala doesn't remember much of her past. Found wandering the streets in Mos Espa, Tatooine, she was captured by a slave trader, but she was soon freed by the Empire who boarded the vessel after Lord Darth Vader sensed the force within it. Irony brought a quick end to the Force-Sensitive Slavemaster as he was quickly disposed of by Vader's forces. Not wasting the quarry on board, Lord Vader brought the slaves back to Coruscant, she was presented to the Emperor as a gift to corrupt and twist as he saw fit. The Emperor soon found interest in Shala as his youngest of six students. Shala quickly learned her place within the ranks of the Hand. However, things did change once the girl began to show potential. Fastest of all the students, she quickly learned the skills she needed to perform the duties which were required of her. Only another was viewed as her equal and despite their allegiance to the Empire, they seemed to possess a sort of sisterly rivalry between them, like two daughters competing for the graces of their father.

However, this all ended with the Battle of Endor and the destruction of the Empire itself. Like a lost child, Shala returned to the Fringe of the Galaxy and began to make a name for herself. Not many of the former members of the Black Hand returned from the Battle of Endor and few have even made themselves known throughout the Galaxy. However, this all changed once Shala began to use her personal skills for her own financial gain. This is where she met the infamous Sharis Shade.

The two quickly became lovers and found themselves at the whim of the better buyer. However, Sharis soon met his end at a double cross from his 'student'. Everything well-planned and executed, Shala would be the next to gain his trademark of the Mandalorian Armor possessed by her former partner. Soon Shala gained the trust of Sharis' contacts as she posed herself as him within the armor. Gaining a double life for herself, she quickly found that the life she would lead would become a profitable one.

Many of those employers who found that the Sharis Shade they were doing business with had changed would quickly find themselves dead as Shala did not want anyone to know of her secret. Quickly gaining fame as Sharis and Shala the Mediator, she found her new double life one that could easily fill the void of her now empty life.

Personality:
As Shala Bali, she is cold, calculated and sophisticated. The ways of the Empire have made her the way she is today. There is very little good in her, as she holds what training was given to her with the highest of all disciplines. Gaining much from her former mentor, Sharis Shade, she has quickly learned how to utilize the Mandalorian Armor with as much expertise as its former owner.

Vehicle of Choice:
Incom "Explorer" Modified Scout Ship. It is private, roomy and her personal armor ship. The Widowmaker was once Sharis' personal ship. Modified to keep up with the best of the best, it's designed with light armor, heavy shielding and provides some of the most upgraded weapons on the market. Surprisingly fast for its size, the ship has seen a lot of action and has certainly proven itself time and time again in dogfights. It can be piloted with a crew of one and possess five small cells, an armory and living quarters for Shala when needed.

Form of Dress:
Shala tends to wear loose and comfortable clothing that does well to reveal her form. She tends to sometimes wear clothing of the highest fashion in the Outer Rim. However, during her business dealings, her attire is always similar: tight crimson pants, crimson armored vest, and a pair of crimson knee-high boots. With each graceful step she has the speed and grace of a predator. In the field she uses a suit of armor from the Mandalorian Warriors of dark grey and light blue.

Abilities and Skills:
Shal's appointment to the Black Hand was certainly impressive. A very talented individual, she had the knack as a quick learner despite her younger years compared to the others within the Emperor's tight circle. She also trained by the Imperial Royal Guard and schooled in infiltration by the Emperor's top spymasters. She is also a very good shooter with a blaster rifle and a keen pilot. Master at the art of assassination, she trained with only the best the Empire provided. The Emperor had seen a lot of great things in her future before he met his demise on board the second Death Star orbiting the Moon of Endor.

Special:
Shala uses a Modified Mandalorian armored suit. The armor covers head, torso and upper arms It also has a Sealed Enviro Filter system that can block out harmful molecules, or in case of insufficient or deadly atmosphere. The suit can be completely sealed as it draws upon a two hour internal supply of breathless gasses. Lighter than most armor, the battle armor is quite light and seems to make a lot less noise than most other armors out there.

It also has Wrist Lasers, Flame Projector, Sensor Pod with on-board battle computer with a Heads-up Display built into the visor of the mask. Also equipped with macrobinoculars with Infrared motion sensor that is Scomp-Linked into blaster rifles and other weaponry. A broad-band antenna can intercept and decode most comms made on standard frequencies. And last but not least, a jet pack that can provide a lift of up to 100 meters horizontally, 70 meters vertically. She also carries various weapons upon her starship, the Widowmaker.
