Physical Description:
Muscular, strong and fast. Short brown hair framing a roughly handsome face and body. Has a cybernetic implant replacing his left eye. Hides his height hunched over. He acts much like an old man seeming to use his staff to walk but it's all a ruse lulling people into a false sense of safety.

Background:
A'Kin's life history is the text book definition of a mystery, much like his species. His species comes from deep within the uncharted regions of the galaxy and as they're not limited to a home world they travel in great ships cloaked so they pass undetected. A'Kin was always fascinated with life outside the small universe of his people's ships. They've never trusted outsiders since their home world was destroyed centuries ago. Going against his elders he stole a ship and headed out into the galaxy.

He was over 200yrs old when he left his people and travelled the galaxy moving from one place to another.

The centuries that folded saw A'Kin move from place to place never really getting involved in either the Empire, Rebel Alliance (when it was formed) or the Republic, though he kept close tabs on their activities. Then one day he met Iyika when she was only nine years old. She was injured and the only survivor of an Imperial attack on the transport ship she was on. A'Kin watched the whole incident but could do nothing. He took her in as his daughter and raised her as his own.

He's had numerous jobs from intelligence spy, assassin to bounty hunters and mercenary. He joined the Rebel Alliance and was a pilot during the battle which destroyed the first Death Star, but at the end of the battle A'Kin vanished and has yet to reappear into public sight.

Personality:
Very dark with people he doesn't know or trust but once you're through the mistrusting persona you can find a friendly, honest, loyal man. With his vast life and experience he has a unique way of looking at things, is rarely shocked but has a mean temper when his cage is rattled.

Vehicle of Choice:
He has his own ship with multiple droids from attack droids to small cleaning droids all controlled by one specially modified R2 unit. The strange thing about the droid is that the special modifications give it the semblance of artificial intelligence, but is still nothing more than elaborate programming. The droid is named Xian, and "she" normally acts as A'Kin's conscience (albeit with a strange sense of humour). A'Kin's ship has incredible fire power, speed and shields. Her size makes her agile both in space and while in the atmosphere of planets.

Form of Dress:
Normally seen wearing a large thick coat similar in most respects to the coat Iyika wears only a different colour - his is dark grey. Underneath he wears whatever takes his fancy at the time, though doesn't much care about the latest fashion. He normally has a contact over his cybernetic eye so it appears to be a normal eye.

Superhuman Powers and Abilities
When he looks at a person he can see their aura, and with that can tell things about a person such as health and emotional state. He has also learned to identify the unique aura that surrounds a Force Sensitive person. He can regenerate wounds rapidly, having no need of bacta tanks or machines.

Abilities and Skills:
A master of combat with weapons or hand to hand, his experience in life gives him an incredible advantage. He is also a master of many forms of martial arts. He has many interesting weapons including the staff he keeps with him at all times.
