Yelara shifted in bed, the silk sheets sliding across her naked flesh. Her eyes flickered open but closed again as the artificial sunlight in the room stabbed her eyes. She squinted, trying to take in a little light at a time to give her eyes a chance to adjust. Slowly, her senses began to awaken. The first thing she became aware of was Dargus' arm slung across her chest with his hand cupping her breast. Even in his sleep, he only had one thing on his mind.

Yelara gently removed Dargus' hand from across her chest and slinked out of bed, making sure not to rouse him. She looked down at Dargus, sleeping soundly and studied him for a moment. Watching him sleep with his features relaxed and his face bereft of the scowl that always graced it, Yelara almost saw an innocence in him. He seemed almost vulnerable and quite handsome. She liked him this way, although she knew that once he awoke, he would revert back to ruthless, old Dargus Kandran.

Dargus had kept his promise, however. The first day she shared his bed with him, the creds he agreed to give her were deposited into the secret account...an account belonging to the rebels. She had contacted Dannen, secretly while Dargus was attending to business, and informed him of the arrangements she had made. The man, of course, was ecstatic and curious as to how she managed to pull it off. After all, one million creds and bacta at a discount was not an easy feat. Yelara simply smiled at him and wished him 'good luck' before she ended the transmission and sighed, a content smile on her face. She remembered that day; it made everything she would go through with Dargus worthwhile.

Yelara strode away from the bed, wrapping her arms around her body. Dargus had practically force fed her for an entire week, and it had worked. She was getting back to her former weight slowly and her cheeks were regaining their rosey complexion. Her thoughts went back to the week she had spent with Dargus so far. They had slept together every night, Yelara naked, yet Dargus had never even tried to force himself upon her. He had fed her, even bathed her and through it all, he had been gentle and never once made her feel uncomfortable. She had to admit, he was certainly doing a good job of wooing her.

"Good morning," said a voice from the bed.

Yelara gasped quietly and turned around to face Dargus. She wondered how long he had been watching her, but she didn't mind. Her body was no longer as disgusting as it was when she was deathly underweight, so she could walk around naked with pride again. "Good morning, Dargus. By the smile on your face, either you slept very well, or you're glad to see me."

"Would you care to find out," he asked with a wolfish smile. "You look ready to begin our two weeks together already."

Yelara grimaced as she continued pacing around the room. She wasn't ready to get back into the swing of things with Dargus. She began rubbing her arms with her hands, feeling so cold suddenly. Anxiety crept up within her at the thought that she would inevitably have to get back into bed with Dargus. "Right now? I mean, do we have to start right now? I'm not sure if I'm feeling well yet," Yelara answered, rubbing her arms furiously now. "Can't we wait...just a little while?"

"Until this afternoon then," he said with an air of finality.

Yelara laughed incredulously, shaking her head as she walked over to the drawer Dargus had set aside for her new clothing. "You are so very kind, Dargus. Waiting four more hours before pouncing on me... Such a gentleman."

Yelara rifled through the drawer, spilling clothes onto the floor and finally pulling out a pink sundress and slipping it over her head. As it fell into place, Yelara sighed almost wearily. Dargus had bought all her clothing in the size she wore before her weight had dropped and although she had gained most of it back, she could still not fill in the clothing completely. The straps on the dress kept sliding down her shoulders and it simply hung limply on her. However, her cheek bones no longer protruded sharply, and her arms and legs no longer looked like sticks. Her hips were still not as curvacious as they had been before, but at least the dress didn't merely slide off her body onto the ground.

"I think this dress needs to be taken in an inch or four," Yelara muttered sourly as she bent over to put on her sandals.

"Four hours is a generous offer, Yelara." He climbed from the bed and approached her, not bothering to cover himself. "Now, the next two weeks, you and I will be spending a good deal of time together. You are mine, and I will take you when the whim strikes me. I will not harm you." He closed the distance between them until his erection pushed the fabric of her dress between her legs. "But, I do know you like it a little rough." He pushed one of the straps from her sundress and dropped his hand down to cup one of her breasts. He smiled into her eyes as he pinched at the nipple. "You have a glorious body. I really don't think you should cover it with clothes. Your beauty should be admired."

Yelara gently pushed Dargus' hand away and pulled up the strap. "You said this afternoon, so not until then," she said sternly, moving past him. It was unsettling how vulnerable she felt with Dargus towering over her. "Besides, I'm not that beautiful anymore. I think my body is punishing me for that little stunt I pulled. I'm still feeling a little weak and as you can see, I'm having trouble getting back my, shall we say, assets," she added, suggestively as she again pulled up the straps.

"I'm very sorry," he said with another wolf's grin. "You have the body any man would want to ravage. You are recovering quite nicely, though slightly on the skinny side. We'll have to get a little more meat on you. You want a little flesh there when I take you." He brought a hand to her cheek and trailed it down and over her lips. Oh, she would make a fine concubine.

Yelara's head dropped as she looked to the ground. "I'm beginning to wonder why I did it in the first place. I mean, I could have chosen a different way to deal with my depression, but starving myself just felt more...fulfilling, somehow," she said quietly and with dejection.

"Well, make sure it never happens again. You're a beautiful woman, and seeing you like that was painful. You have a natural light about you, and that had almost gone out. But, with my help it's come back, and you can shine again."

Yelara tried to force back a smile, but Dargus' sweet words entered her ears and struck a chord in her. Her mouth curled into a radiant smile. "I promise I won't do it again," she replied. Yelara looked up at Dargus, wide-eyed and still smiling. She missed his touch and hated herself for it. She could have fallen in love with him long ago if only he were a different man, someone more kind and less ruthless.

She pulled away slowly, fixing her dress again and walking to the bathroom to fix her hair. "What will you be doing today, Dargus?" she called out, attempting to get his mind off the lust he was obviously feeling towards her.

"I'm planning a merger with a failing corporation in New Plouton," he lied. He knew if he told her he was sending an assassin after the Hutt, she'd have a fit. "After that, my afternoon and evening is devoted to showing you so much pleasure that you'll never want to leave me again."

Yelara walked out of the bathroom, running her fingers through her hair, which, she just, realized was getting very long and in need of a trim. "So, in other words, you get to have fun while I'm stuck in here, staring at the walls," Yelara answered sardonically. "Why can't I do anything fun? I mean, it's not like I'm going to escape, Dargus. I wouldn't be able to even if I tried."

"You are free to go wherever you wish on my ship," he said.

"And I can do this alone?" Yelara asked, eyeing Dargus suspiciously as she walked over to him. "So, if I wanted to, say, visit my workshop...I could?"

"Of course," he said, his hands moving to her breasts as soon as she was close enough. One hand slipped up toward the straps holding the dress in place while the other slipped down toward the hem of the dress.

"Dargus..." Yelara warned as she stepped back. "You promised." She walked slowly away from him, her arms crossed over her chest. "So, I can leave, right now and go visit my workshop? And you won't have a guard follow me?"

"No guards," he said. "Not while you're on my ship. There's no need."

A satisfied smile spread across Yelara's face as she turned back to face Dargus. "Good. If you need me, I'll be in the workshop, on my own with only the tech equipment to keep me company." Yelara rushed up to Dargus, kissing him on the cheek and whispering into his ear, "Now unlock that bloody door so I can get out of this bedroom before I go insane."

At a command from Dargus, the door opened. "Enjoy the workshop."

"Thanks," Yelara answered quickly and with a cheerful smile as she pushed past Dargus and walked towards the door. "See ya later!" she called out, not stopping or turning back as she rushed out of the room.

Yelara strolled along the corridors of the ship, her arms swinging freely and her face bright with enthusiasm. For the first time in a long time, she felt almost happy and her chest no longer felt constricted as if a heavy weight had been bearing down upon it...that weight being the burden of knowing how much she had hurt Kallia. The wound was still fresh and would always cause her pain, but she was beginning to realize she had to move on, no matter how difficult that would be. She had her chance and blew it. Kallia would never forgive her and Yelara didn't blame her, not one bit.

As she approached the workshop, Yelara quickened her pace, excitement surging through her as she anticipated basking in the beauty of the place...a place Dargus had built for her and which was exclusively her own. She began running towards the workshop, the straps of her dress falling down and her sandals coming loose. She didn't care if she lost her dress and got there naked, as long as she got there.

As she reached the doorway of the workshop, her eyes shot open and her jaw dropped, almost as if this were the first time she had seen the enormous shop all over again. She sighed and giggled with delight as she walked through the workshop, her hands running over every surface and piece of equipment. She caressed them and let her hands explore every texture while her eyes took in every sight.

She walked over to a worktable with datapads, tools of all kinds and paper. Large pieces of paper lay on the surface, unfurled as if reaching out to her and begging her to let her hands dance across their blank, white surfaces and create a tumult of lines and shapes. Yelara smiled and smoothed out the paper with her hands, then taking up a stylus and placing it between her fingers.

As Yelara leaned over the table, with the stylus she began drawing out designs for ships and weapons, ideas that had been floating around in her head for ages. She had been so preoccupied lately with other things - Kallia, Kace, Dargus - that she had had no time to vent her creative energies, but now she did. Just being in the workshop, alone, made her serene and soothed her. She began thinking about how she could get used to coming here, giving herself some time alone, but that would mean she'd have to make her living arrangement with Dargus permanent, and she wasn't quite ready to do that.

***

Dargus' meeting had gone well and it wouldn't be long before the slug met its end. As he walked back toward his room, he decided to stop by Yelara's workshop. As he stepped through the doorway, he was glad he did. She was bent over a worktable in her skimpy sundress. She had all sorts of charts and schematics around her and was marking them with a stylus.

She was completely unaware of him, and he knew it was time to begin their two weeks, but it would be much more than two weeks. She would be his forever, just as they all were. He silently slipped out of his clothing, and approached. He lifted the skirt of her dress and slid a hand between her thighs, brushing across her lips. He could feel her getting wet immediately. His other hand moved and pulled the front of her dress down while he feasted on her shoulders and neck. "Oh I've missed this," he said.

Yelara gasped, not able to see who was there, but knowing whose hands were caressing her just from the way they touched her and moved across her body. When she heard his voice she knew it was Dargus. Yelara was still leaning over the table, her hands gripping the edge of it as Dargus ravished her with kisses. Her skin tingled at his touch, and she let out quiet gasps as his hands explored her thighs and her crotch. She may have hated being with Dargus, but she missed this part of it. "You promised...four hours," Yelara said, her voice strained and breathless.

"A small lie," he said as he slipped two fingers inside her. "And, judging by how wet you are down here, I think your protests are somewhat empty." He drove his fingers as far into her as he could, wondering what type of protest she would raise if he pushed his thumb into her anus. "You are a very sexy woman, Yelara. I can't wait any longer. Don't worry, I'll make you scream with pleasure."

"I have no doubt you will," Yelara breathed, grabbing at the papers on the desk and crushing them between her fingers. "I don't want to mess up my new workshop," she said, gasps and quiet whimpers impeding her sentence. Yelara closed her eyes tightly as Dargus' hands stimulated the erogenous zone between her legs. Yelara tried to pull away from Dargus, but she had nowhere to go with the table in front of her and Dargus behind her, trapping her in.

Yelara's body was on fire from his touch, he could tell. She wanted him as badly as he wanted her. He knew she didn't care who the dick that entered her belonged to, but he'd worked her to the point where she needed something inside. They both knew that he was a master at this and could please her like no one else could. He pushed her down across the table and entered her in one smooth motion.

He wasn't entirely gentle, but there was enough tenderness to keep her happy. He knew she liked it rough and wild, and gave as much of that as she would be able to take. He drove himself into her with long strokes that brought whimpers and moans from her. He loved that sound and would never tire of it. She was his and only his. He would make certain of that. As he continued to fuck her, his hands fondled her breasts and he continued to kiss and suck her shoulders and neck.

Yelara trembled and flinched with every pass of Dargus' hands over her body. Only one other person knew exactly where to touch Yelara, to make her writhe with pleasure like that, but she doubted she'd ever see that person again, let alone feel her touch. Yelara continued to grip the edges of the table, steadying herself and also holding her up as her knees began to buckle beneath her. Dargus liked to take her from behind. Yelara sensed it gave him some sense of control, letting her know that he held all the power and she was just an instrument upon which he demonstrated that. She knew Dargus held all that power; he didn't have to prove it to her. She handed it over to him when she came crawling back.

Yelara kept her eyes closed, picturing the satisfied grin that was most likely on Dargus' face. He had been waiting for this for weeks, and his movements, his desperate caresses indicated just that to Yelara. He would not relent, not even if she cried out at the top of her lungs, clawed at his face or kicked him in the groin. He might just find it kinky.

"Seems we have a tendency to do it on tables..." Yelara said in a shaky, breathless voice as she reached back and clung to Dargus' thighs tightly. "Is it to become a sort of tradition?" Yelara dug her fingers into Dargus with every pulsating movement. Their bodies fit perfectly together, every part of his now an extension of hers. Yelara's whole body trembled as waves of titillation rippled throughout her. She bit her lip to keep from crying out and tossed her head back, resting it on Dargus' chest, wanting to meld completely with him.

Dargus smiled at the feelings of her submission to him. It was a glorious and empowering feeling. He gave one final thrust, and filled her with his seed. He cried out at his peak, and his voice was filled with pleasure. He collapsed against her, wrapping his arms around her body and enjoying the solace of their union. Her dress was still bunched at her waist and it gave him a lot of her skin to touch and caress. "I know you despise me," he finally whispered, "but that was beautiful."

Yelara rested her arms atop Dargus', caressing them with her hands as she forgot, momentarily, who was standing behind her. His words, whispered into her ear, caused her to frown. He realized that she didn't enjoy being with him, yet made her share her body with him, nonetheless. His voice sounded almost...mournful and full of regret, a surprise coming from Dargus Kandran.

Why would he care what her opinion of him was? He would if he truly meant it when he said he loved her. But, again, the lingering doubts pushed their way to the surface, shrieking at Yelara telling her not to fall for Dargus' little act. She was tired of listening to them. They were the same voices that caused her to push Kallia away, the same ones causing her to fear being with Kace.

Yelara pulled away from Dargus, turning around and looking up at him with tired eyes scanning his. "You send my mind into a loop every time I'm with you, Dargus," she said gently, taking her hand and caressing his cheek. "I don't want to care for you, but no matter where I go and what I do, you are always on my mind, whether it be dreaming up ways to kill you or...or imagining what it would be like if it was just you and me together, without those other distractions causing these doubts in my mind, doubts that make it so difficult to be with you."

Yelara pressed herself against Dargus, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head upon his chest. "Some days, I hate you with a passion and others, I think I could almost care for you," she whispered, the words feeling almost like a betrayal to everything she believed in and to everyone she loved.

Dargus looked at Yelara for a moment. He almost had her. Just a little push, and she'd be his completely. "And, what stops you from caring? We've been doing well, but something still seems to bother you."

Yelara didn't say a word. She continued resting her head on Dargus, staring blankly straight ahead as her mind churned. She knew precisely why things were so volatile between them, but she couldn't tell him. She had no idea what his reaction would be and there was no need to bring it up now, not since her relationship with Kallia stopped being a hindrance to her ability to be with Dargus. Yet, still, she could not tell him. It would no longer be an issue and it was a complication she didn't need to get into right now. "I've just been preoccupied, Dargus. Nothing to worry about," she answered finally, her mouth saying one thing, but her mind screaming 'Kallia'.

Dargus flinched slightly as a wave of thought crashed through his mind. He took a second to steady himself before looking at Yelara again. The power of her thought said it was something very important. "Your thoughts betray you, Yelara. You think of someone named Kallia. Who is Kallia?"

Yelara gasped and pushed away from Dargus, bumping into the table behind. Her face went pale and her breathing was heavy as she clung to the table nervously. "Kallia? What do you mean?" she asked, stammering and trying to sound ignorant. Yelara swallowed hard, looking at Dargus, afraid that he already knew everything about her and Jae Dyn.

"You are thinking of some woman named Kallia. The memories sadden you. Who is Kallia, Yelara?" If she was going to cry out another name during their lovemaking, he'd have to have her killed.

"I never spoke that name! I don't know who it is," Yelara hissed as she pushed past Dargus. "You're becoming delusional in your old age."

"I read it in your mind," he said. "Now, please calm yourself before you get hurt."

Yelara whipped around to face Dargus, her eyes narrowing and her voice barely above a whisper. "You what? How dare you?!" Yelara furiously pulled up her dress, placing the straps upon her shoulders again. "My mind is the one thing that is freely mine. I don't want you in there, ever again!" Yelara turned and began walking out of the workshop. She was more shocked than angry that Dargus had actually been in her mind, her private sanctuary. He didn't appear to know who Kallia really was but for a moment, Yelara wanted him to. She wanted to see the look on his face when he realized the two of them had made love, behind his back, and more than once.

Yelara stopped at the doorway, a mischievous smile spreading across her face. What if he found out? It might be a slap in the face, knowing Jae Dyn and Yelara gave themselves freely to each other while they shuddered at even the thought of sleeping with Dargus. It would certainly be a blow to his prized virility and manhood, something Yelara would relish in seeing.

She turned back towards Dargus, approaching him slowly with her hips swaying and a smile still on her lips. "Do you really wanna know who she is? I mean, really? You might not like it, Dargus," Yelara said as she neared him.

"Yes, I want to know," he said, growing impatient.

Yelara's smile widened as she reached Dargus and put her lips next to his ear, whispering sweetly, "Her real name is Jae Dyn Brael. We fell in love, screwed each other, and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced." Yelara looked back at Dargus, a smug grin on her face. "I did it for her. I hurt myself for her, something I would never do for you, Dargus."

Dargus hadn't suspected anything between the two women, and it was a shock to learn of it. Especially like this. He expected it to be in a report or surveillance footage, not from the mouth of his whore. "I loved her," he said. "She and I were going to rule the galaxy together. The two of you would have been first among my women." He shook his head and glared at her. "And, now she's gone. You drove the woman I love from me."

Yelara scoffed at Dargus and walked around to the worktable, picking up the fallen schematics and her pen. She smoothed out the crinkled paper and leaned over the desk, picking up where she left off. "You're just disappointed that you didn't get to share a bed with both of us, Dargus," Yelara said bitterly as she began drawing furiously. "What Jae Dyn and I shared was love. What you offer us is a pale imitation."

Containing his anger was no longer an option. "You are a cold, heartless bitch incapable of love and Jae Dyn Brael runs from it out of fear of the darkness of feeling anything more than self-righteousness. You could not have loved her. Ever! And you have no idea of the depth of my feelings. Judge me so again, and I'll forget the tenderness when I fuck you next. You know nothing of love!"

"Don't tell me I know nothing of love, Dargus!" Yelara spat as she threw her pen down and shoved the papers onto the floor. She slammed her fists down onto the table and glared at Dargus, her eyes fierce and her face red. "If you loved her so much, then why did she come running to me?! Explain that one, Dargus Kandran!"

"Because of the darkness in me," he said. "She feared it and staying near me drew her to it. I tried to explain that it would be okay. That her fears were groundless. The last time we were together," he said with a smile, "she said she thought she could love me. Our lovemaking was beautiful. Under the sky, under the flowers. Oh, we were quite delirious lying together, naked and close, not more than fifty meters from where we now stand. Oh, she and I had something truly beautiful, and that was love."

"You liar!" Yelara shrieked as she rushed at Dargus, slapping him across the face. "She could never have loved you! Her heart belonged to me and because of you, I broke it into two!"

The back of Dargus' hand flashed across Yelara's cheek, yet she didn't even blink. He had done it so many times before that it no longer impacted her. "Never raise a hand against me, bitch," he roared. "Next time, you'll lose it." He watched her for a moment, a gloating smile coming to his face. "So we both loved her, and she loved us. I guess that just brings us closer. Now, you will have to deal with the fact that you weren't the only one to capture her heart."

"No..." Yelara whimpered, sliding to the ground. "It can't be. She can't have loved you too," she whispered breathlessly. "How could she have loved you? You're...you're nothing like me. You didn't even suffer when she left. Not the way I did."

Dargus sank to the floor at her side and took her into his arms. "She loved each of us," he said. "Why is that so hard for you to believe? Just because I didn't start a hunger strike doesn't mean I loved her any less. I do love her, and I do miss her."

Yelara rested in Dargus' arms with her body limp and unresponsive. "It's my fault she left, Dargus. I...I was so cruel to her and hurtful. Her eyes...you should have seen her eyes, Dargus. They were frightening...so cold and dark." Yelara shuddered as she recalled the look in Kallia's eyes the night of their big row. Yelara pressed against Dargus as the horrifying image of Kallia's devastated expression caused her to grow cold. She wanted to disappear in his arms, to feel safe and to try and share the grief she felt with someone who had even a small understanding of how she felt. "I'm sorry I pushed her away Dargus. I'm sorry...."

"I can hire bounty hunters to track her down. We can find her and bring her back to us. We can all live here together, in my bed. And, both of you can be my firsts. Our life will be happy together."

Yelara shook her head, even though her heart was telling her to say 'yes'. She wanted more than anything to gain Kallia's forgiveness. She couldn't move on without it, even though she could continue to live, although it would always be an empty, bitter existence. To see Kallia again would be a cathartic, glorious experience, but also a painful reminder that their love was a delicate thing, one that had crumbled so quickly and over such petty things as jealousy and fear. "I don't think she'd want to see me, Dargus. It's over. We both had our chance and now it's passed. Let's just leave it at that," Yelara answered sorrowfully.

"No chance ever passes Dargus Kandran," he said. "I will not give up. I will find her and bring her back."

Yelara looked up at Dargus, running her hand along his cheek as she looked into his eyes. She could see the pain in them, the regret - emotions that mirrored her own at that moment. "I want her back, but...it hurts too much right now," she answered soothingly as she reached up and kissed Dargus on the lips gently. "You and I...we're still here Dargus, and as long as we are still together, we could never forget Jae Dyn. Let that be our only comfort, for now."
