The Stiletto banked hard against the atmosphere of Tae'Karada as Shiv
veered off toward the opening in the planetary shield. The edges of the
shield crackled with blue light, and Shiv poked her ship out into space.
Once free of Tae'Karadan space, she checked the nav coordinates Kaysa had
given her and set them into the computer. She turned the Stiletto off
toward the outer edge of the system, and engaged the system drive. The ship
lurched forward and out toward.
A slow smile spread across Shiv's face. She was on a job. She had a job
that was going to get her money. And, she was employed. She couldn't
believe Kaysa hired her. She knew she had the experience. She knew she
could do the job. But, she didn't think that Kaysa Zenarr would trust her
with the cargo. But, she had.
An indicator started blinking, telling Shiv that she'd reached the
perimeter. Once there, she pulled back the hyperdrive activators and the
ship jumped into hyperspace.
***
Travelling through hyperspace was boring. Tremendously boring, and nothing
ever happened. At least, not on runs like the one Shiv was on. She sat in
the cockpit with her feet propped up on the console across the way from her.
The autopilot was engaged so there really wasn't much she needed to do
now. Which pretty much left her with just her own thoughts.
And, she realized that her thoughts seemed to be centering around Kaysa
Zenarr. If she closed her eyes, she saw Kaysa's face there, her dark eyes
burning in the inky night of space. And, no matter what Shiv tried, she
couldn't shake Kaysa's gaze. It bored deep inside of her and probed every
nerve ending, every cell, every strand of DNA. She couldn't shake Kaysa's
eyes. She looked back into them, and felt a heat radiating. She felt a
heat rising within her. It was like the entire ship suddenly caught fire
and Shiv was in the center of it all.
Kaysa's gaze burned with a sweet fire that Maeren Shivral had not felt for
over two years, and she loved the feeling, thrilled at what it did to her
insides. She could almost feel the trails of fire licking at her body,
devouring her. And she wanted to devour in return.
The sensations coursing through her body were too much. Her heart pounded
hard and heavy in her chest, the sound echoing in her ears. Her body
flushed with the heat burning within her, a heat radiating from between her
legs. She had felt the beginning twinges of desire while she was talking to
Kaysa in her office, but now they were nearly overwhelming. Her entire body
throbbed with need, with a hungry desire that she couldn't explain.
As thoughts of hers and Kaysa's bodies writhing together on deep red satin
sheets rose, Shiv slid her hand between her legs, rubbing through the thick
fabric of her pants. It wasn't enough. The heat spread through her body.
Her vision blurred and her head swam. As one hand moved to her breasts, the
other started tugging her pants open. With a plaintive whimper, she fought
to get her hand into her now open pants. As her fingers touched the slick
wetness between her thighs, she heard a moan escape her lips. She buried
two fingers inside herself, and gasped as a shudder rippled through her
body.
Her hand moved deftly, working at her cunt to sate the need and desire that
were overflowing within. She didn't know where it'd come from, but Kaysa
Zenarr had woken something deep and primal within her. She knew she had to
have Kaysa, had to love her, devour and be devoured by her.
She threw her head back against the pilot's chair as a violent shudder
worked itself through her body. With one hand still buried deep inside her
pussy, her other fumbled to get the tight shirt she still wore off. Her
motions were frantic and frenzied. She felt the fabric rip, but didn't
care. She tore it away and tossed it to the floor, her free hand moving
back to her nipples.
She felt like she could combust right there, just go up in one big
human-shaped inferno. Her entire body seized up as yet another orgasm
washed over her like waves upon a beach, and it washed again and again. She
heard herself crying out, screaming until her voice went hoarse. She heard
herself crying Kaysa's name, again and again.
She collapsed back against her seat, exhausted. She watched her chest rise
and fall, watched as it still heaved from her exertions. She didn't know
where it came for or why, but she wasn't going to question it. She hadn't
spent much time with Kaysa in the office, but she had liked the woman's gaze
on her. She liked the way she looked at her, sized her up, devoured her.
She had to have Kaysa. She had to.

Shiv stepped down out of the Stiletto and walked out across the flightdeck
to where the shipment she was picking up rested. It had taken some doing
getting down to this level, but she'd managed it. They almost hadn't let
her through. They hadn't even believed when she'd read off all the
passwords Kaysa had given her on the datapad.
It wasn't until she'd picked out a few choice words to use on her contact,
that he let her down to this section of the cargo bays. It could have also
been the dagger she'd pulled on him. No one was allowed there without
proper authorization. She'd had proper authorization coming out of every
orifice, but the man still hadn't believed her. She couldn't believe how
badly women were treated in the biz. It made her even more glad that she'd
joined with Kaysa. Two women working together in the male-dominated
smuggling game. She knew they would do well together. She could feel it.
And, soon they'd be the best. When someone wanted something transported,
they'd go to Zenarr, Inc.
The thought made Shiv smile. She knew Kaysa would like the thought, and it
warmed her to be able to contribute to that. She wanted to help Kaysa, and
help her a lot. Together, they would change the way smuggling worked in the
outer rim.
The two men seated at a table with a deck of cards between them looked up at
her as she approached. One of them, who happened to be holding a card to
his forehead, only shifted his eyes, but groaned when his companion turned
away to look at her.
"Lesk," the man with the card said, "don't break your concentration."
"Oh, shut up, Dreal," Lesk said. "It's a five of swords."
Dreal pulled the card off his forehead, looked at it, frowned, and then
looked back up at Lesk. "How'd ya know?"
Lesk turned toward Shiv and smiled. "Can I help ya, Missy? If you're
looking for the Brothel, it's outside and down the street."
Shiv came nearly close to slugging him. But, she only smiled. She handed
him her datapad. "I'm picking up," she said. "And, I don't want to be here
all day."
He looked at the datapad and then back up. "That's it there," he said
pointing, and sat back at the table. "Next card, Dreal."
Shiv growled under her breath, and thought about stabbing both of them. She
moved to the first crate, casting a glare of daggers at both men as she
started with it toward the ship.
It took two hours to get everything loaded up, but she got it. She gave
Lesk and Dreal a taste of her wash as she fired up the Stiletto. She could
hear their shouts as the ionized air pummeled them. Cards swirled through
the bay, buffeted on the air like leaves on a fall day. She laughed as she
punched the ship forward, and clear out of the bay. At least she got a
little fun out of it.

Shiv rushed out of the Stiletto once it touched down in New Plouton. She
headed straight toward Kaysa's office. She nearly knocked over a pair of
humans strutting their way out of a bar. She didn't bother apologizing,
they should have been watching where they were going. As she neared the
Zenarr, Inc. office, her heart was racing. She couldn't wait to see Kaysa's
face.
She rushed through the door to see Kaysa looking up from her desk.
"Got it," she said with a bright smile.
