"Turren Honeymoon, Part 1"

The autopilot was still engaged as Liam and Yelara lay cuddled together in
their bed. They'd been there for hours, many more hours than they'd planned
on, but it was very nice. They both had needed the rest, and had gotten
plenty of it as the Kestrel sped through hyperspace. They were headed
toward Turren, the place where they'd finally be able to take their
honeymoon.
Liam opened an eye and looked at the clock embedded into the far wall. They
still had an hour or so until they arrived. An hour or two more to spend in
the privacy of their bedroom. He turned his gaze to Yelara, curled up on
his chest. He laughed softly when he realized she was leaving a small
puddle of drool there. She had been very tired to start out. And, having
spent the last seventy-two hours together in bed they had been able to sleep
quite a bit. Of course, the sleep had been broken up by quite a bit of
lovemaking.
He kissed the top of Yelara's head. "We have a couple hours before we
arrive," he said gently. "Unless you just want to stay in the ship."
Yelara uttered a low groaning sound as Liam's voice roused her from her much
needed slumber. She opened her eyes slowly, only closing them again as
sleep summoned her back, but a sudden churning in her stomach shattered
all hopes of her falling asleep again. Yelara's eyes sprang open as she
gasped and rolled onto her stomach. Her head hung over the edge of the bed
as she emitted a guttural gagging noise, which forced up an unpleasant taste
into her throat. It wasn't the way she had planned on starting the day, but
Yelara was powerless to fight back the oncoming flow of stomach contents
that spilled out onto the floor.
Liam leaned over and put his hand on Yelara's back. As he did, he kissed
the back of her neck. Things were starting to fall into place. The
faintness, dizzy spells, and exhaustion. The signs, though he was by no
means an expert, seemed clear. "That doesn't sound very good, my love," he
said softly. "I'll get a towel." He slid out of the bed and threw on a
shirt
and pants as he quickly got her a wet towel. Before returning to her side,
he summoned the scrubber droids to clean the mess from the floor.
He handed the towel to Yelara and sat down beside her, taking her into his
arms as he did. Through the bond they shared, he could feel the nausea she
was experiencing, and tried to force the feeling away in himself. He could
only think what all the signs meant, and it made perfect sense. He felt a
nagging in the pit of his stomach though, a fear of what might be.
He'd always been hesitant to use his skills with the Force on Yelara, but he
felt he had to this time. He stretched out with his senses and touched
across her body. His suspicions were confirmed as he sensed the second life
growing within Yelara. A child. He felt a spike of happiness surge through
him, and then a shroud of fear smother it out. He knew that he and Dargus
had
both been with Yelara in the last month and a half, and that the child she
carried could be either of theirs. "I think we should see a doctor when we
get to Turren," he said.
"What for? I'm probably just feeling the space sickness again. I'll be
much better once we get on solid ground," Yelara said as she wiped her face
clean. "I hope you didn't take offense, though. I mean, I'm not sure how
you feel about it, but I certainly would be offended if your reaction to
hearing my voice was to vomit."
Liam snuggled closer to Yelara. "I still think you should go to a doctor,"
he said. "The kind that specialize in telling you that you're going to have
a baby. I can feel it inside you, Yelara. You're going to have a baby."
His smile was bright and his eyes held nothing but love for her as he gazed
into her beautiful violet eyes.
"What?" Yelara asked, the blood draining from her face as her suspicions
were confirmed. "Are you absolutely certain? I mean...I don't know what to
say." Yelara slipped from Liam's embrace and rose from the bed. She walked
to the other end of the room and stopped in front of the full length mirror
mounted on the wall, the one Liam had purchased for her. She said nothing
and simply stared into it as she gently ran her hands along her bare
stomach. As she did, she thought back to the last time she had been at the
right phase in her cycle to actually conceive a child.
"Oh by the gods," Yelara breathed as she placed a hand over her mouth and
felt her mind reeling. She gripped the edge of the mirror firmly as she
tried to steady herself. Staring into the reflective glass, her mind
concocted images of her last days with Dargus, his body writhing against
hers,
the twisted smile on his face, every moment displayed in perfect clarity on
the mirror. "I want it out of me," she said frantically as she clenched her
eyes shut and shook her head. "I don't want it! I want it out!"
Liam was at Yelara's side in an instant, his arms protectively encircling
her. He could see what she was thinking. He was certain if he'd pressed
his mind into hers, he would see that he was. And, that probably meant she
was certain the child had been conceived with Dargus. "We can have the
process done on Turren when we arrive," he said softly. He held her to him.
"If you don't want it, we'll take care of it as soon as we arrive."
"I do want it, though, but... Liam," she said, her voice shaky, "I have to
know. If it..." Yelara shuddered and pulled away. She moved to the bed
and pulled the top sheet off, wrapping it tightly around her. She slowly
looked up
at Liam, knowing her next statement could ruin the happiness they shared
recently, and destroy any chances of them achieving anymore in the future.
"What if it's Dargus'?"
Liam nodded. It was a sensible question. "That all depends," he said,
deciding to stay where he was after Yelara had pulled away from him twice.
"Would you wish to take the child to Dargus? Allow him to raise it?"
"No!" Yelara hollered, glaring at Liam. "How could you even think of asking
something like that of me? I despise Dargus and don't want him anywhere
near
me ever again!"
Liam held up his hands defensively. "I'm sorry," he said. "I just wanted
to make sure, because I have an idea that will be the coup of the galaxy.
If the
baby is Dargus Kandran's, wouldn't it just kill him to know I was raising a
child he'd conceived?" His eyes shone with vibrant blue light and his smile
stretched from ear to ear. In it all, there was the hint of mischievousness
that always seemed to be near.
"What?" Yelara asked incredulously. "You actually want it to be Dargus'?
Are
you completely mad?" she asked, her voice rising as the bottled up rage
began to boil over. "I don't want it to be his child! I want it to be
yours...ours! To even think of using the child in retaliation against Dargus
sickens me. I can't even believe you're suggesting it, Liam!"
Liam blinked. He felt his face go warm and his heart start racing. He took
a step back against the mirror. "I'm sorry," he said softly. "I want it to
be ours too, mine and yours. But, even if the child was conceived by
Dargus,
I want to raise it. I want our baby to be everything Dargus isn't, and
everything that we are; but whether it was him or me, I want to be the
child's father. I'm sorry for what I said. It was wrong of me. Please
believe me when I say that I truly want that baby to be ours, from
conception on through the rest of our lives, but even if it wasn't me, I
want to raise it with you, and love it as if it were my own." He kept his
eyes on hers and stayed where he was, rather than succumb to the urge to
through himself out an airlock.
Yelara sighed and laughed gently as she rose from the bed. "I'm sorry,
Liam. I guess it's my maternal instincts kicking in already. The baby's
not even born, and I would already give my life to protect it from Kandran,"
she said as she approached Liam. "This is the one thing we've got that will
never be touched by Dargus' evil influence. Yes, it would be sweet revenge
to raise Dargus' child as your own, let him know we've got something of his
that will forever be out of his reach, but I will not use this innocent to
carry out an act of vindication." Yelara smiled and placed her hand upon
Liam's cheek, hoping her gentle touch would quash the tension he was
obviously feeling. "Don't worry. No matter what, this baby will be ours."
Liam smiled and put his arms around Yelara. "We will keep our child as far
from Dargus and his corruption as possible, and if he never knows we have a
child, so much the better." He kissed her gently and then broke into a
smile that threatened to consume his entire face. "I guess we know what
goes in that other bedroom now." He felt the laughter bubble up from
within, and then he couldn't stop it. He held Yelara tight and laughed
until tears streamed down his cheeks. "I love you, and I really hope the
baby is mine and yours...with your eyes, beautiful violet."
"Well, I'm glad you're excited about this! You're not the one who'll have
to endure hours of torture trying to force this thing out of your body."
Yelara felt a euphoria filling her, one sourcing from the centre of her
stomach where the child she had never even dreamed of having was growing
inside of her. "It's amazing how in only a few months, your entire life can
change. I came to Tae'Karada, a child, looking for vengeance and what I
ended up finding was love...twice," she said, a sorrowful expression washing
over her face as she thought of Kallia. "And now," she continued taking a
moment to clear
her throat and push away the sadness that always came with memories of
her Kal, "I am in danger of falling in love for a third time. But it's a
risk I willingly accept."
Liam gazed into Yelara's eyes and held her close. He knew the look he saw
pass through Yelara's eyes. He'd come to recognize it, and her admission to
falling in love twice confirmed it for him. He loved Yelara more than
anything in life, but he knew that she still loved Kallia Brael, or Jae Dyn
Brael as she had been known known while walking the path of the Jedi
Knights. He had never met her, but he knew she had been trained by Tal Dan,
the man who had taught him and who he had betrayed and killed. He felt the
grief within him rise as memories of his own dark past surged into his
conscious mind. "Do you think about her often?"
Yelara tried to feign a confused look, but she had come to accept recently
that she could never lie to Liam and get away with it. Due to his Jedi
powers or pure intuition, he always
knew. "Do I think about who often?" she asked as she turned away from him
and walked towards her clothing drawer.
He followed her part of the way, and then moved to sit on the edge of the
bed. "Kallia," he said softly. "Your first love. Do you find yourself
thinking about her often? I remember when she left, you were very
shattered, and I could tell just now you were thinking about her." He moved
close and put his hands on her shoulders as she faced the drawer. "I'm not
upset if you do, not at all. I know she was your first love, and very
special to you. And, I know that you still love her." He kissed her neck
and shoulders. "And, I understand. It's okay, love."
Yelara shrugged her shoulders free of Liam's hands and turned to face him.
"And is it alright that I dream about her at night? Does it bother you that
sometimes, when we're lying awake in each other's arms, I think about her,
pine for her? Sometimes I think I can still hear her voice in my mind. When
I'm alone, I even think I catch fleeting glimpses of her out of the corner
of my eye. I can't get her out of my mind, Liam."
Liam took Yelara into his arms and held her tight. It was difficult to
hear, but he'd known it all along. He'd known she was with him only because
Kallia had left, and he knew that it would always be that way. It was an
acceptance he'd made from the beginning, and unlike his inability in the end
to accept Yelara and Dargus together, he knew he could accept this. He
could
feel her love for Kallia, a deep, powerful love that took his breath away.
"You love her," he said softly. "Of course it's okay to miss her, think
about her, dream about her. I'll never ask you to stop loving her, Yelara.
I can feel what you feel for her. If I were in your place, there would
probably be no differences." He paused for a long moment, just content to
hold her. Finally, when he spoke again, his voice was distant, quiet. "Do
you want to look for her? Find her?"
"You... Why?" was all she could manage to utter before pulling away from
Liam and gazing up at him with extreme puzzlement in her expression. "I...I
don't know if I want to find her. Everything we have now would change. Do
you really want that, Liam? We've worked so hard to get where we are now
and you'd be willing to place it in jeopardy so Kallia and I can be
reunited?"
He shook his head and moved back to sit on the bed. "I don't know," he
said. "I just know what I feel from you when you think about her. I know I
don't want to lose you, but I know what she means to you. I've known all
along that I was the second, and your feelings for her hadn't diminished. I
don't know why I'm offering this, but I thought it might be something you'd
want. I want to make you happy."
"What about your happiness, Liam?" Yelara asked as she knelt down at his
feet and placed her hands lightly upon his knees. "If she comes back to me,
things will change. You don't possibly think the three of us can live
together as one harmonious family, do you?"
Liam nodded. "Probably not," he said. He gave her a smile and covered her
hands with his. "Maybe I wasn't thinking very clearly." He leaned forward
and kissed her. "So, first thing when we get to Turren, we get you to a
doctor to check on the baby?"
Yelara smiled wanly and nodded her head. "Our baby. I guess that means
you'll have to go easy on me from now on," she said, smiling at him
suggestively. "No more rambunctious lovemaking...doctor's orders!" Yelara
laughed even though her thoughts quickly returned to those of Kallia, as
well as Liam's offer. She straightened up until she was towering over Liam
on the bed. "If you do find her, someday, by accident or however," Yelara
said quietly, looking at Liam's hands still holding her own, "you'll tell
her I'm alright and that...I love her, won't you?"
He nodded slowly. "If for some reason you're not with me," he said, "I'll
tell her." He reached up and pulled her down into his lap, the sheet
falling away. He pulled her gently to him as he slipped his arms around her
waist. "But, I don't know if I could ever stand to be away from you for
long."
"Then we'll never let that happen. You, me, and little baby Liam or Yelara
or whatever it turns out to be, will always be together. Nothing can stand
between us now." Yelara wrapped her arms around Liam and rested her head
upon his shoulder. "I may still love Kallia, but my love for you is just as
strong, Liam. Don't ever forget that."
He kissed her gently and then looked up into her eyes, feeling the power of
her feelings for him there. "I'll never forget," he said. "How can I, I
feel it whenever I'm near you. I feel it when I'm not. And, I know we'll
be together for a long time to come."
"Do those Jedi senses of yours tell you that?" Yelara asked as she pushed
Liam down onto his back and smiled mischievously at him. "And do those
senses of yours tell you what I'm thinking about right now?" she asked as
her hand began tugging on the zipper of his pants.
Liam laughed softly. "Oh my," he said with a sly grin. "If you're thinking
what I think you're thinking, then I think I'm in big trouble." He slid a
hand along her thigh as he watched her. With Yelara, it never took much to
get him aroused, and her touch was definitely working today. "Gently this
time?"
"You're always gentle, Liam," Yelara replied as she forcefully tore open his
shirt and began running her tongue along his chest. "It's me you have to
worry about."
Liam moaned softly as he let his hand run up Yelara's stomach and across her
breasts. He looked up into her eyes as he lightly pinched her nipples. He
shrugged free of his shirt, and removed his pants with a little help from
the Force. He let his hands explore Yelara's body, touching and caressing
wherever he could reach, until he finally slid a hand between her thighs.
"The nice thing about a ship all to ourselves is we can make as much noise
as we want."
"Especially since I tend to get very enthusiastic when you start doing--"
Yelara let out a shrill cry that bounced off every bulkhead on the ship,
surprisingly leaving all the viewports intact as Liam pressed his fingers
into precisely the right spot. Yelara's cry continued until she was gasping
for air and was only able to speak again after a few calming breaths. "Now
that, is what I was referring to."
Liam laughed softly as he pulled Yelara to him for a kiss. Once their lips parted, he smiled again. "I love it when you make that
sound," he said. His hands continued on her body, his caresses more
impassioned and forceful. He used his lips and tongue on her neck and
chest, kissing and sucking at her flesh and bringing out from her a series
of moans. "I'm glad we have a good autopilot," he whispered as he pulled
her up until she was straddling his hips.
"Well, it's just strange. I mean, you've always known exactly where to
touch me, but now when you do, it's different," she said as she slid into
place, emitting a gentle moan. "Now," she whispered, her eyes closing
slowly as she gently rocked on his hips, "everything is more intensified."
She ceased speaking momentarily to steady her breathing and to clear her
throat of the whimpering moan that had been building within it. "Every time
you moan, it's as if I can feel the ecstasy that fills your body; everything
you're feeling seems so powerful that it envelops me, it bombards my senses
somehow."
Yelara smoothed her hands over Liam's chest as she continued swaying her
hips. She knew Liam was becoming just as enthralled with passion as she
was, but not because of his moans and the way his body was reacting. His
every emotion seemed to emanate from him and permeate her, causing her moans
to amplify. "I can almost feel what you feel," she said in a husky whisper,
"and sometimes it's almost overwhelming. It's not just the lovemaking,
though...it's all the time."
Liam nodded as he looked up into her eyes. He shifted his hands on her hips
as his thrusts quickened slightly. "I know," he said, his voice thick with
his arousal. "I think we have formed a lifebond. It is common with Force
users who develop a strong emotional attachment to another." He slid his
hands down her thighs and then back up to her hips. "I can feel what you
feel, even when we're not together I can feel you. When I'm flying the ship
and you're in the repair bay, I can feel you there. And, when we're
together now, like this--" His eyes nearly rolled back in his head as a
wave of pleasure washed through him. Feeling his own pleasure mixed with
hers was almost more than he could take. The wave passed and he finally
focused his eyes on Yelara again. "When we make love, give each other
pleasure, it's even stronger."
"Yeah, I noticed," Yelara forced out before another reverberating cry seized
her voice. "Everything's so different...I feel like we're just one being.
Our movements, even our cries are synchronized." Yelara leaned over and
kissed Liam, muffling a moan he had just begun to vocalize. "I almost feel
as if I could hear what you were thinking if I tried, that's how close I
feel to you right now," Yelara whispered into his ear before she shot back
up and arched her back as tremors began to possess her body.
"Liam..." she heard herself holler as the room seemed to explode into a
myriad of colours, every sensation and emotion she was feeling manifesting
itself as one of the colours that filled her vision. She hadn't even
climaxed yet and already she felt as if she and Liam were just floating out
among the stars. She could hear the sound of his heart coupled with her own
as clearly as if it were beating alongside hers in her chest. She wanted to
cry as she finally felt the connection she'd been feeling with Liam, one she
had caught glimpses of over the past few weeks, finally take hold. It was
a new sensation, but one she knew she would want for if it were to ever
become lacking in the future.
Being with Liam, feeling what he was feeling made her finally whole. "This
is what love is supposed to be like," she uttered in a barely audible
whisper.
Liam looked up at her as he bit his lip against the sensations that were
building up inside him. He could feel their oneness, the bond that tied him
to her, and her to him. He could see her chest rising in time with his, the
pulse in her throat beating in sync with his heart. He had heard about the
bond, but never knew what it could feel like, never thought it could exist
in his life.
Every feeling that Yelara felt, he felt it as if it were his own. He could
feel their souls joined into one, but the separation of their physical
bodies was nearly too much. He wanted to be closer, to meld his body with
hers, to see through her eyes, breathe through her mouth. He cried out as
his passion raced for the peak. He clutched Yelara to him as their perfect
rhythm sent them closer and closer to climax. He could make out Yelara's
eyes glazed over just as his were as they both neared the point of the most
intense physical pleasure either had ever felt in their lives.
The world around him, which had been a myriad of colours went white. He
knew he could take no more, and felt the same from Yelara. He threw his
head back, a guttural shout ripped from the deepest part of him as they
crashed over the cliff together. He felt the explosion as they both
climaxed. Still crying out with the intense pleasure, Liam pulled himself
to Yelara, clinging to her as tightly as he could.
Yelara closed her eyes and held her breath as her mind concocted some
delirious notion
telling her she could contain that one intense, fierce emotion if she merely
sealed every orifice in her body. It would linger within her, never
degenerate, and continue to blossom, displaying its vibrant spectrum of
colours as long as she just locked it away inside of her. The mutual love
she and Liam felt for each other would sustain it indefinitely, even after
their mortal bodies withered away. It was bred in that intangible, unseen
part of a person in which the soul is housed. Liam's own spirit had found
Yelara's, guided by their love, and it was through that union that Yelara's
physical climax transformed into an indescribable cacophony of sounds,
emotions, and tactile sensations.
Her senses seemed to shut off and every cry, every drop of sweat running
down her cheek was no longer perceptible. All she was aware of now was
emotions within her that were not her own, that seemed foreign yet which she
embraced fully. She could almost feel Liam's essence emanating from that
swirl of emotions, identifying them as his own, but which were now woven
together with hers. Her essence mingled with his as the orgasm continued to
climb. She continued to hold her breath, clinging to the vortex of emotions
swirling inside of her. If she let go now, she feared the link she shared
with Liam would be severed, that the intangible aspects of himself now
integrated in the whirlwind of emotions would suddenly unwind themselves and
draw back into him.
Yelara's heart began to burn in her chest, her lungs crying out to her as
they demanded a gust of oxygen-rich air to revive them. She gripped Liam
firmly and finally dispelled the stale air, before she took in a deep
lungful of fresh air, using it to cry out, "Liam!" She opened her eyes and
took in another staggering gasp of air before she collapsed onto Liam's
chest and began kissing him desperately.
Liam felt as if he had just run across the galaxy, an exhaustion purer than
any he'd ever felt before in his life, and it was the most wonderful and
exhilarating feeling he'd ever had. And, the love he felt pouring out of
Yelara and into himself, and then back into her was unbelievable.
"Yelara," he said softly, "that was...I have no words." He held her to him
as he tried to catch his breath. "I don't ever want to leave here. I want
to stay here, curled up with you for the rest of time." He could feel her
heart beating in time with his, still in time. And, he could feel her
emotions, and he could barely hear her thoughts, as if they were a whispered
conversation across the room. "I love you."
"And I love you more than I can describe," she replied as she smiled. It
was still there; everything she had felt, the link she had felt with Liam
and feared losing once their moment of passion ended, still filled her
entire
being. She lost herself for a moment and began laughing wildly as she lay
atop Liam. "I can feel it...I can feel how you love me," she said in a
voice filled with both jubilance and complete bewilderment.
Liam held her close, breathing in her scent, their scent. "I can too," he
said. "It's an amazing feeling. I've used telepathy before, but it's
really nothing compared to this. And, it made our lovemaking so much
stronger, to feel what each other was feeling." He kissed her again, a
long, lingering kiss. "I wonder if it's going to be like this every time."
"I hope so," Yelara replied as she propped herself up on Liam's chest and
looked at him with a mischievous smile. "How about we give it another try,
just to make sure?" she asked as she began kissing Liam's lips. "I should
be tired, I know, but I actually feel more invigorated."
Liam returned Yelara's smile between kisses. "I feel completely exhausted
on one hand, and ready to take on the entire galaxy on the other." He
kissed her again, and rolled them until he was on top looking down into her
eyes. "I'm ready for another try," he said, and quickly moved to kiss her
lips and neck. With her, he felt like he could go forever.
"Why, Liam, we haven't even begun the honeymoon yet. Are you sure you'll
have enough left for when we arrive on Turren?" Yelara asked playfully as
she wrapped her long, silky legs around Liam's waist.
Liam gave Yelara a long kiss as he slid himself inside her. "Oh, I think
I'll have plenty for you when we get there, and long afterwards. I think
this bond we've got is giving me more energy. Do you think you're ready for
that?"
"If it feels as good as it did a just now, then I think I'm going to
encourage that we spend more time in bed," Yelara replied as she wrapped her
arms around Liam's neck and planted a warm kiss upon his mouth. "I only
hope my voice won't give out. It just isn't as fun if I can't holler out
your name for all the galaxy to hear."
Liam returned his mouth to Yelara's as he started working up a rhythm like
they'd had before. He felt like he could keep going for hours, though they
only had one until Turren. He knew that he and Yelara could make good use
of that time, and hopefully not shake the ship apart with screams of
pleasure.

The Kestrel settled into her assigned berth on the main Turren docking
facility. Steam billowed around the ship as the maneuvering jets vented
into the warm Turren air. The main entry hatch on the small ship lurched
and then slowly slid down until it rested on the plasticrete flooring. At
the top of the ramp, Yelara and Liam Zaneth appeared. Their steps were
excited as they walked forward, hand in hand. It was the beginning of their
honeymoon, and with that the beginning of their life together as husband and
wife.
"First thing we should do is get into our hotel room," Liam was saying as
they moved toward the main concourse. "After that, I think you should get a
quick check up with the local doctor to make sure everything is okay with
the baby. And, then we can decide what to do from there. How does that
sound?"
"Well, it seems you've got everything under control. I guess you don't need
me," Yelara teased as she playfully turned back towards the ship, only to be
pulled into Liam's arms again. "Ok, hotel, doctor, then you spoil me by
indulging me in all the delights Turren has to offer. Sounds good to me!"
she said with a laugh.
"And, I hear Turren has quite a selection of delights to indulge in," he
said. "Especially the waterfalls."
They caught a tram that sped them off toward the hotel. It was a short
ride, but very scenic. There were trees everywhere, and walking between
many of them were the natives of Turren. They all seemed to be wearing
brightly coloured clothing as well as permanent smiles.
Finally the tram deposited Liam and Yelara at the hotel and they quickly got
themselves a room. As they deposited their belongings, Liam looked around
from the doorway as Yelara ventured farther into the room. "I think I'm
going to stay right here," he said. At Yelara's quizzical look, he grinned.
"If I come any further into the room, I will want to try out that bed."
"Fine," Yelara said as she rushed over to the bed and dove onto it. The bed
sprang back against the impact and tossed her body gently into the air
before she settled back onto the mattress. "If you don't want the bed," she
added with a relaxed sigh as she rested her hands behind her head, "then you
can sleep on the floor."
Liam took a couple steps into the room and shook his head. "I mean now," he
said. "If I get too close to that bed right now, I think we may have to
test it. See how it holds up under stress. I can feel it pulling at me,
and with you there in the middle, I don't know if I can resist. I may have
to tear your clothes off and ravish you here and now."
Yelara laughed and crossed her legs as she settled into the bed. "I know
what you meant, my love. I was just being difficult." Yelara smiled and
pushed herself up, sitting against the headboard. "And since I like being
difficult, I refuse to let you ravish me right now," she said as she patted
the
bed with her hand. "Now, come and sit down, and if you behave yourself, I
may even let you sleep on it with me tonight."
Liam moved quickly to sit next to Yelara. He looked up at her with an
angelic expression on his face. "I would be honoured," he said, with the
hint of a smile in his eyes, "if you allowed me to sleep with you tonight.
But, before that, we have to go gaze at waterfalls together. One of the
brochures I read indicated that there's one series of falls where you have
three forming like a box, and there's always a rainbow between them from the
spray."
"You're quite the romantic," Yelara commented as she shifted closer to Liam.
"I wonder if anyone else would find it as ironic as I do that an ex-Dark
Jedi is discussing waterfalls and rainbows with his new wife." Yelara's
lighthearted expression quickly became one of earnest reflection as she ran
her hand gently along Liam's cheek and asked, "Are there days when you feel
that you could so easily just return to that life, become that person again?
Does that scare you at all?"
Liam looked out the window for a long minute while he pondered her question.
"I'm never going back to that place," he said. "I can feel it pulling at
me sometimes, but I fight against it." He turned back to face her and
smiled softly. "And, with you I have the strength to fight it off. And,
with our baby, I know it will never be able to touch me again. The two of
you have definitely saved me."
"Liam, don't ever leave us," Yelara said desperately as she wrapped her
trembling arms around him. "I wake up everyday and I try to think back to
when you weren't in my life, but when I do, my thoughts immediately return
to you. My life before you, and even Kallia, just seems empty and
meaningless. I only want to remember what we have together now. I love you
more than I ever thought I was capable of loving another. You must never
leave me, Liam."
Liam wrapped his arms around Yelara and pulled her to him. "I'll never
leave you," he said gently. "You're a part of me now, and leaving you
behind would be like leaving behind an arm, or a lung." He kissed her
cheeks and then her lips. "You've got me for always, and I'll be with you
every step of the way."
"Good," Yelara said, attempting to lighten the mood with a smile. "Because
if you do, I'll just have to find another black-haired, blue-eyed, ex-Dark
Jedi to spoil me like I know you will." Yelara pulled Liam in for another
kiss, then moved her lips to his ear. "I think I'm ready to try the bed out
now," she whispered as her hands moved to the belt securing his pants,
deftly undoing it.
Liam lay back onto the bed as Yelara worked at removing his pants. While
she did, he quickly moved his own hands to release her leather pants and
shirt. As their clothing quickly disappeared to nimble fingers, they
started caressing and touching. Soon after, the entire wing of the hotel
was wondering what all the screaming down the hall was about. The following
morning, one of the hotel cleaning staff would notice a crack in one of the
chandeliers hanging outside Yelara and Liam's room.

It was two hours later as Liam and Yelara walked slowly through the market
square. Vendors had set up booths and carts and tables and racks displaying
wares of all sorts. Liam and Yelara, holding hands, looked over a rack
lined with clothing of various styles and weaves, all of them crafted
specifically for women expecting children.
Liam chuckled softly as he looked over one long, full dress. "I don't
know," he said. "I really don't think I can see you wearing any of these.
Though, in a few months, I imagine you won't want to be wearing leather."
Yelara shuddered and tugged forcefully on Liam's hand as she moved them
along, away from the oversized clothing. "I don't even wanna think about
that now. I don't wanna think about anything that could even trigger
thoughts of how much pain this baby is gonna cause me when it's time to
deliver." Yelara smiled innocently at Liam as she squeezed his hand and
drove her nails into the delicate flesh of his palm. "But as long as I have
your hand to hold onto, I should be fine."
Liam laughed softly as he led them away from the racks of maternity clothing
and over near another filled with various articles of clothing all made of a
supple leather. He gave Yelara a wink as they started browsing through the
various pieces. As he was looking at a vest he thought would look perfect
on Yelara, he felt an itching at the base of his skull. He turned and
looked.
Across the plaza, a man stood watching them. He had a device Liam
identified as a holo-camera strapped to his head with an eyepiece dropped
down in front of his eye. The man made no effort to hide that he was
watching them. As he captured Liam watching him, he even smiled.
Dargus, Liam thought. He glanced at Yelara, and decided to say nothing
about
their observer. He didn't want to upset her with news that Dargus had
people
following them. He would take care of their shadow later that night. He
glanced up again at the man and found he wasn't there.
Liam looked again, and found him a few meters away from his last position,
watching another couple looking over a set of plates and glasses.
Getting paranoid, Zaneth, Liam told himself. Just a tourist taking
holo-films of a vacation, and he likes getting other couples for some
reason. He watched the man as he looked over a few more pieces, holding the
vest out for Yelara. He glanced up as the observer wandered out of the
marketplace. Liam shook his head again, and cursed his insane paranoia.
But, what if...? He pushed the thoughts away and smiled at Yelara. "What
about this," he asked.
Yelara turned around and eyed the vest, which was made of very little
material. She couldn't help but chuckle at Liam and cocked an eyebrow at
him. "Of course you'd pick out something that revealing for me to wear.
Maybe I could just walk around here topless." Yelara smiled and pried the
vest from Liam's rather stiff fingers. She tossed the vest aside and kissed
him gently on the lips. "You seem a little tense. Don't like shopping
much, do you? Well, I think you will once we get to the swimsuit shop,"
Yelara said with a sly grin.
Liam put his hands around her waist and snuggled closer, ignoring the stares
they were getting from the vendor. He forced his thoughts away from the man
who'd been watching them. It was probably just a tourist interested in
watching couples together. "Oh, you're planning to try on swimsuits? Can I
watch?" He laughed softly and kissed Yelara's throat.
Yelara tilted her head to the side, giving Liam more freedom to plant his
kisses precisely where she wanted them. "You can watch if you promise not
to touch," Yelara teased as she guided Liam's hands onto her rear.
With his mouth still against her neck, Liam smiled. "I'll try my best," he
said. "Though, we may need to get a pair of binders to keep my hands
secure."
"Fine. We'll pick up a pair on the way. Come on!" Yelara said as she
slipped from Liam's grasp. She clasped her hand around his and began
pulling him
along towards a shop up ahead with brightly coloured swimwear. "You'll need
something for yourself too, unless you plan on surprising me once we get to
the waterfalls."
Liam followed along laughing. "Alright," he said with a laugh.
Just before they disappeared inside the shop, Liam felt the itch again. He
turned his head to look, but all he could make out was a rapidly vanishing
shadow. He shook his head and chalked it up to paranoia. He followed
Yelara into the shop and quickly allowed her emotions to feed his as they
moved to find their swimsuits.
"While you're picking out yours, I'll pick out mine. Unless you think we
should help each other pick out our swimwear?"
"How about I do the shopping for both of us?" Yelara said as she began
rifling through the varieties of swimsuits on the rack, pulling out a purple
two-piece and a black pair of shorts. "I think these should be just fine. I
mean, I don't know about you," she said, handing Liam his shorts, "but I for
one don't plan on staying in mine long enough to care what it looks like."
Liam's grin split his face as he accepted the trunks from Yelara. "I love
the way you think," he said. "And, I knew there was a damn good reason why
I said yes to you." He kissed her as they started up to pay for their
purchases.
Once the swimsuits were paid for, Liam and Yelara left the store. As they
wandered back through the plaza, Liam turned to Yelara. "So, you want to go
explore some waterfalls?"
"That's not the only thing we'll be exploring," Yelara replied as she rested
her hand on Liam's rear, gently squeezing it. "I hope it's a very secluded
spot, and if not, I'm sure we can scare everyone away with our enthusiastic
cries of pleasure."
Liam laughed softly as he slipped a hand down to Yelara's waist. "I think
in either case we'll be fine," he said. "Though, the thought of scaring off
a few natives is rather appealing. I thought I saw a tram up ahead that
headed out to the outskirts of the park where all the waterfalls are. Did
you want to grab something to eat before we head out?"
"Um...maybe later. I'm not really hungry right now. Besides, I want to see
these waterfalls you've been speaking so highly of. We can have something
to eat after if my stomach stops churning like it is now. I know the doctor
said the nausea will only last for a little while longer, but it's still
quite unpleasant," Yelara said with a grimace as she began massaging her
stomach soothingly.
"The falls it is," he said, moving closer. "We should see about getting
something to soothe your stomach while we wait for the tram."
They walked quickly, as close as they could walk together, toward the tram
station. As Liam purchased tickets for their trip out to the falls, he felt
the itching again. He turned and looked, making as if he were just looking
around, but saw no one. He shook his head and wondered if he was going
insane. He paid for their tickets and walked a short distance away, Yelara
still at his side.
"Tram will arrive in another ten minutes," he said. "And, then we're headed
toward the falls. Any last requests before we leave civilization behind for
the great watery outdoors?"
"Last requests? You make it sound like we're going to our execution."
Yelara laughed and playfully tickled Liam on the stomach. "Lighten up.
You've been so tense since we got here. What's going on with you?"
He took a quick look around and then shook his head. "It's nothing," he
said. "I may be picking up some of your nausea, or I'm just...I don't
know." He brushed a hand along her arm and smiled. "I think some old
habits die hard, and for someone who's been fighting their whole life,
sometimes it's not easy to take a little peace and quiet without feeling a
little paranoid that something's about to jump out at you. It's okay. Once
we get away from here, I'll be much better." And, once we leave our happy
photographer behind.
Yelara stroked Liam's hair and pulled him towards her for a kiss, hoping the
feel of her soft lips against his would alleviate some of his tension.
"Well, we have an entire week left here, so we should make the best of it.
Then...then we have the rest of our lives to try and remedy those paranoid
tendencies of yours."
"I like the sound of that," he said softly. The stress and tension slipped
away as they kissed. Maybe it was nothing out there. Maybe he was just
jumping at shadows. "You want to get something for your stomach while we
wait? Or just sit on that bench over there and snuggle up to each other
until the tram shows?"
"Let's just sit down and I'm sure I'll feel much better, especially if
you've got your tongue in my ear," Yelara said with a tiny giggle as she
slipped her arm through Liam's and moved towards the bench. "I can't
believe I'm actually having a child, Liam. I'm not even mature enough to be
mothering a baby. I won't have any idea what to do," she said quietly,
laughing softly in disbelief.
As they sat, Liam pulled her close and put both arms around her chest.
"Well, I don't know either, but I'm sure between the two of us, we'll figure
something out. Our baby will have the most love any child could ever want."
He was quiet for a moment, and then: "Isn't it strange how life just
throws
those twists at you? I mean, just in the last couple months, everything in
our lives has changed so dramatically. And, they're still changing."
"The twists are what brings two people, walking completely separate paths,
colliding into one another. If it weren't for those twists, we may not have
met." Yelara sighed quietly and closed her eyes as she heard the tram
approaching in the distance. "It's also those twists that catapult two
people completely out of each other's reach. It's those kinds of twists
that I hope we never encounter."
As the tram rumbled into sight, Liam took Yelara's hands into his. "I love
you more than life itself, and there is nothing that could keep us apart. I
will be at your side until the day we die, so you'd better be prepared for a
long and fulfilling life with me."
"With all we've been through already, I think I'm prepared for just about
anything that comes our way," Yelara answered as she opened her eyes and
watched the tram slowing to a halt before them. "Shall we go?" she asked,
turning her gaze to him with a hint of a smile on her lips.
"Yes," he said, returning the smile. "I'm ready for those waterfalls now."
Before they moved, he leaned in and kissed her. He couldn't believe how
much his life had changed since he'd met Yelara, but he welcomed every one.
They boarded the tram arm in arm and found seats away from the others in the
small bus-like vehicle. The trip would be about a half-hour, so they made
themselves comfortable.

The tram deposited everyone at a visitor's center at the base of a small
rise. Beyond the rise would be the series of falls that had become one of
the main tourist attractions of Turren. Fortunately, few people had
actually discovered the vacation world.
Liam and Yelara walked in silence up the hill and down toward the falls. As
Liam noticed which way the handful of others were going, he veered off to
one of the more secluded spots with some falls. According to the guidebook,
they were all beautiful, but the ones he was leading them to were quite
spectacular.
As they looked up, they could see water cascading down from above. It was
quite a sight to see, especially given the nature of life in the galaxy
under Palpatine's rule.
"It's beautiful here," he said.
Yelara gasped quietly as she set her eyes upon the spectacle before her. The
dense mist created by the rushing waters lightly sprayed against their
faces, a feeling as gentle and intimate as Liam's hands tracing over her
curves and brushing lightly against her breasts. It sent a shiver down
Yelara's spine and she could feel her body reacting as if it really had been
Liam touching her. "It's wonderful," she whispered as she understood for
the first time in her life what 'breathtaking' truly meant. "I feel almost
as if it would be a sacrilege to disturb such a peaceful place."
Liam slipped his hand into Yelara's. "Let's go down near the water," he
said in a near-whisper. It almost felt wrong to raise his voice any louder.
As they moved, the shifting of the slight wind and mists felt wonderful.
It cooled and rejuvenated, took away worries and tensions, and left both
feeling refreshed and more alive than they'd felt in a long time.
The water travelled in gentle ripples as Liam and Yelara approached. Their
reflections stared back as they looked down into the clear blue water.
"It's like we're the first people to ever set foot here," he said quietly.
"Do you feel that way? Like we're the only ones?" He looked at her, his
eyes wide with wonder. He could feel her own excitement and knew she could
feel his.
"When we're together, I always feel like the rest of the universe doesn't
exist. That's exactly how I feel now," she said as she stared at their
mirror images, the two of them standing abreast with their eyes expressing
the love they felt for each other. "Shall we test out the water?" Yelara
asked, turning her gaze to Liam as she pulled her hand from his and began
undoing her pants.
He nodded slowly, pulling his gaze from their reflection and turning it
fully to Yelara. "Yes," he finally said, and started undressing to put on
the swim trunks he'd purchased. He chuckled softly to himself as he
realized he would probably not be wearing them for long.
When he finally looked up, Yelara had already finished changing. "You look
very beautiful," he said, looking at her against the backdrop of the lake
and the falls in the distance. He closed the distance separating them and
kissed her.
They were right next to the water. Liam looked down at it and then back up
at Yelara. "Do you suppose it's cold or warm?"
"Only one way to find out," Yelara said with a mischievous smile as she
pushed forcefully on Liam's chest and shoved him into the water. She
laughed hysterically as a torrent of water surged up from the reservoir and
came splashing down upon Liam. "How's the water?" Yelara shouted above
Liam's furious splashing.
Liam finally righted himself in the water, and looked up at Yelara trying to
not swallow the entire reservoir with all his laughing. "It's pretty good,"
he said. "I think you should check it out." From behind Yelara, an unseen,
invisible hand conjured from Liam's mind pushed her toward the water.
Liam's laughter rose as Yelara toppled into the warm water left by the
waterfalls.
Yelara's shrill cry was abruptly cut off as her head submerged in the
surprisingly warm water. Her arms flailed as she attempted to regain her
balance and finally did. As her head resurfaced above the water she gave
Liam a playfully scowl and lunged at him, tackling him into the glistening
pool of water. "You cheated!" she cried out, laughter filling her voice.
Liam couldn't stop laughing as Yelara nearly sat on his chest in the water.
"If you want, I can put you back out there and come get you," he said.
"Though, I think this way was more immediate. And, besides, I was missing
you already." He wrapped his arms around her as he gazed into her eyes.
"The water is very nice, you know. I think it has some rejuvenating
properties or something." He gave her a playful wink.
"Again?" Yelara asked, stupefied at Liam's stamina. "You're going to wear
your poor, pregnant wife out." Yelara had her hands resting on Liam's
chest, his firm, defined muscles contracting against the shock of the water
washing over his flesh. She could feel his toned abdomen pressing against
her mound and his stomach undulating quickly as he laughed, stimulating her
intensely. "Then again," she added, a delectable smile flashing across her
face, "it has been almost half a day."
Liam laughed again and pulled Yelara to him. "It has been, hasn't it," he
said. He kissed her as his hands played with the edges of her suit, running
along and then dipping beneath the fabric.
His arousal hit in a rush. A warmth spread through his body, concentrating
in his groin. "I don't know what it is today, but for some reason I just
feel like I can go all day long and never tire. Maybe it's the honeymoon,
maybe it's the water. Maybe it's that you're just a very sexy woman, and I
get aroused just looking at you." He kissed her again, letting his kisses
trail down her throat to her chest.
"Should we be doing this here? There could be tourists watching," Yelara
said, her caution not deterring her from reaching back and unclasping the
top of her suit. "Maybe we should move in deeper," she suggested as her top
came completely undone, with the straps sliding down her arms and
threatening
to expose her breasts.
Liam looked around and nodded. "Yes," he said, "good idea. Can you make it
with yourself coming undone?" He reached up and pulled the top away, but
held on to it. He started deeper, his hands clasped in Yelara's. He pulled
her to him as they moved, enjoying the feel of her skin against his under
the water. "I'm sure we'd give any tourists quite the show if they did
watch. Though, I don't want to share you with anyone, not even a voyeur."
"Have you always been this daring?" Yelara asked as she pulled herself into
Liam's arms and wound her legs around his waist. "And do you think we're
the first people to do this sort of thing here?" She smiled
conspiratorially as she began kissing Liam's neck, sucking off the sweet,
nectar of water beading up on his skin.
Liam laughed. "I've never done anything like this before," he said. "The
only other time I've made love outside of a bedroom was after the cemetery
on Corellia." He kissed her neck while she kissed his. "But, with you, I
feel like I can be quite daring." He reached up and pulled the ties at the
side of her suit and pulled the bottom away. He gave her a sly smile and
kissed her, letting their tongues twine as the passion built even higher.
"You can be anything you want to be with me, Liam. I'll love you no matter
who you become," she said softly with her lips barely parting from his. They
neared a rock ledge not too far from the thundering waterfalls, and the
rainbow they had seen in the distance arced over them now like a canopy.
Yelara tightened her grip on Liam's waist as she felt herself beginning to
slide down. She pressed her body against his and clung to him as she kissed
him desperately. Her kisses moved from his lips to his neck and she used
one hand to try and free Liam's cock from his shorts. "Making love in one
of the most beautiful places in the galaxy... I knew you were a romantic,
Liam."
"I guess I am," he said as he finished pushing his trunks down. "Maybe it's
this place. Or maybe it's me. Or both." He kissed her again and pulled
her to him, kissing and sucking her lips and tongue, throat and breasts. As
they kissed, he entered her again. Their bond seemed to heighten at the
physical joining. Senses and emotions flared brighter with the physical
union of bodies. "I want to stay here all day with you. We can just lay
together, make love, and forget about the rest of everything."
"I want to stay here with you until this waterfall dries up and the entire
universe is swallowed up into oblivion," she answered as she stared into his
blue eyes, eyes that were completely camouflaged by the placid blue of the
water around them. Yelara let out a short, staggering sigh as she used her
arms and thighs to slide up and down against Liam. His body was already
slick from the water, which allowed her to move freely against him; her
breasts were rubbing against his chest and caused her sensitive nipples to
stiffen. "Make love to me, Liam," she whispered into his ear.
Liam slowly started making love to Yelara, sliding in and out of her, each
movement sparking new and more amazing sensations in each of them. The
water sloshed lightly as they continued to make love with Liam setting a
steady rhythm as each gentle thrust sent him deeper into Yelara. He kept
his eyes fixed to hers, his love shown plain for her to see. He had nothing
to hide from her, and as they made love he opened himself fully to her. It
seemed like the flood had begun anew.
Yelara moaned quietly in Liam's ear as her breathing became ragged and her
mouth began to parch as she breathed shallower and more rapidly. She took
one of Liam's hands in her own and brought it down to her crotch. She
directed his fingers inside and let his instincts take over. A cry forced
its way out and a jolt of pleasure caused her to thrust herself against him
as he used both his cock and his fingers to stimulate her. Yelara pressed
her cheek against Liam's and began sucking on his ear as she writhed along
his body. Her shrill, guttural moans mingled with his gentle grunts in a
beautiful counterpoint, as the deafening waterfalls around them performed
the glorious melody.
***
From the distance, Krieg Stash watched the enthusiastic lovemaking with a
grim mask of detachment. His headcam was capturing every thrust and cry
with crystal clarity. He knew he had to be careful now. The dark Jedi had
seen him, and was aware of his presence. At all times, he would need an
escape readily at hand.
He had captured plenty of their activities to a holocron already, and still
had a week's worth of watching to do. He'd sent his first batch of
recordings back to Tae'Karada already. In his magnificent office, Lord
Kandran would be watching their arrival, hotel room activities, shopping and
waiting for that tram. He allowed himself a smile of satisfaction. He knew
he did good work, and he knew that Lord Kandran would be pleased. Though,
he was acutely aware that the content of the recordings would not be
pleasing.
He watched through the eyepiece as the human male, Kace Mordin, now calling
himself Liam Zaneth, knelt down in the water and slid between Yelara
Neerou's thighs to pleasure her even more. She was an exquisite women with
her head thrown back and her cries of passion echoing around off the canyon
walls. Lord Kandran would like that shot.
Her cries grew in intensity and pitch, and then suddenly grew silent as she
reached orgasm. Krieg focused on her face for that. Beauty that his Lord
would appreciate. Her desires satisfied, Yelara set out to return the favor
to her lover. As she took his cock in her mouth, the whole process began
again. He could tell as she worked that she was quite experienced, and from
the look on Zaneth's face he quite enjoyed what she was doing to him.
As he adjusted the focus of his headcam, Krieg suddenly became aware of Liam
Zaneth looking straight at him. He focused in, a tight shot as Zaneth
glared. But, mixed in, he could see the sparks of pleasure being generated
by his lover. Krieg smiled. He didn't want to alarm her, so he would say
nothing. Another adjustment to the framing, and both lovers were in the
frame again.
"Lord Kandran is watching," he whispered.
***
As soon as Yelara had taken his cock into her mouth, the itch returned. He
opened his eyes and scanned the horizon. He had concealed himself well, but
finally Liam spotted their spy. He was watching with a simple smile on his
face. It was hard to concentrate with Yelara pleasuring him, but he focused
his eyes to get a good look. The spy gave him a slight wave. A spike of
anger started to well up before Yelara made it vanish with beautiful
pleasure.
He heard himself moan and cry out as she brought him near the brink. As the
feelings inside intensified, the spy was forgotten for the moment.
Yelara could feel Liam's cock tensing up in her mouth as it built up
momentum for the fast approaching climax. She continued caressing his rear,
clinging to his buttocks firmly as she moaned with just as much pleasure as
Liam was experiencing. Liam's fingers were entangled in her hair as he
gently pressed her head forward and thrust his hips; she could feel his
cock sliding deeper inside of her mouth, almost swallowing it whole as her
tongue continued to lap his shaft.
As Liam's moans grew louder and his
breathing hastened, Yelara sucked more aggressively and focused on his most
sensitive areas. She felt his hips thrust against her abruptly just as he
let out a reverberating cry that bounced off the canyon walls and threatened
to compete with the thundering roar of the waterfalls.
Her lips never left
his cock once until he had released his entire load. She slowly slid her
lips along the entire length of his phallus, finally reaching the tip and
sucking on it gently before she pulled her mouth completely away. She slid
along Liam's body as she rose to her full height and Yelara embraced his
trembling form as she brought her lips to his. She forced his mouth wide
open with her lips and let his tongue explore deeply inside of hers as they
shared the juices from which their child had been given life.
Liam wrapped his arms around Yelara and pulled her to him as they kissed.
It lasted for long minutes as their tongues explored each other's mouths.
As he finally pulled back, he swallowed the lingering remnants of their
fluids, savouring the taste of their mixture. He closed his eyes as he just
held her, each clinging to the other. "I'd say," he finally said, "that I'm
gonna sleep like a baby tonight. But, the way I've been feeling all day,
I'll probably be ready to go again." He gave her a smile and kissed her
gently. "I never knew I had this much in me. I think we're okay to just
lie here together for a little bit, enjoying the serenity. But, then we
should get dressed again before people show up." He grinned and kissed her
again. He glanced up on the hill for their spy, but couldn't see him. He
let his other senses extend outward, and couldn't feel him nearby. He must
have returned to his hole, Liam realized. "I think we're safe here for now,
like this."
"Good," Yelara said in a weary voice as she rested in Liam's arms, "because
I don't think I would get very far if I tried to move right now." Yelara
breathed a content sigh and let her fingers lightly brush across Liam's
back, tracing the outline of his tattoo, which was now imprinted in her mind
down to even the most minute detail. She'd never known anyone like that and
with the new bond she and Liam shared, she now knew him completely inside
and out. "You are my soul, Liam, and everything that I am. You can't ever
leave me."
Liam continued to hold Yelara close, fearing that if he were to let go that
he would lose a part of himself. "I know," he said softly. "To be without
you would be the greatest hardship I could ever face in my life; I have
survived many in my life, but I don't think I could survive that." He
kissed the top of her head as she lay against him.
He closed his eyes and stretched out with his inner senses, the ones that
showed him events far distant. He smiled as he saw both himself and Yelara
together, their hair grey and skin wrinkled with age. "And, if anything
ever separates us, for whatever reason, I will fight my way back to you with
all my strength. Nothing is strong enough to stand between us, and nothing
ever shall." He became quickly aware of the dark turn his words had taken,
and shook his head. "We are bound to each other now, for always; and we
shall stay that way." He kissed her again, and tightened his embrace, again
wishing to pull her inside of him, or him inside her.
"Let's not talk about this anymore, Liam," Yelara said as a cold chill
suddenly swept through her. "It frightens me and besides, none of that
matters because we shall never be separated for any reason. You and I will
never be out of the other's reach for even a moment at a time. Even a
moment without you would be far too unbearable."
Liam smiled and again kissed the top of her head, her hair tickling his
nose, lips and chin. He ran his fingers through her growing hair and
smiled. He'd never been with a person long enough to notice such a simple
change as the growing of hair. But, it was nice to experience, to notice.
"Your hair is growing," he said, stating the obvious. He explained the
thoughts he'd been having and smiled. "I like the curls. How long do you
think you'll grow it? Or have you decided yet? Oh, and do I get to sleep
in the bed yet, or is the jury still out on that?"
Yelara laughed and looked up at Liam as she ran her fingers through her
hair. "One question at a time, Liam. Firstly, I'm not sure how long I
plan to grow it. The only reason it's this long is because I haven't had a
chance to cut it. I told Kal--" Yelara's mouth twitched as her smile
attempted to twist itself into a frown, but she refused to ruin their
beautiful moment by allowing Liam to see the sadness of Kallia's loss wash
over her. Still, however, she couldn't mask what was in her heart nor was
there anyway to hide her feelings from Liam, especially with the strength of
the bond they had. "I told her once that I didn't think I could get my hair
to grow out that long again. I guess I was wrong." Yelara lay her head
back down against Liam's chest and wrapped her arms around his waist
firmly. "And of course you get to sleep on the bed. You've proven yourself
worthy of that honour," Yelara teased as she moved her lips to his bare
chest and began kissing it tenderly. "Very worthy..." she murmured.
Liam let out a soft, contented sigh as he held Yelara to him, and closed his
eyes. "I think when we get back to the town," he said, enjoying the gentle
kisses, "I think we should get you a nice dress, and me something nice to
wear, though not a dress, and we should spoil ourselves with a dinner like
we've never had before. Nothing too heavy or rich, but nice atmosphere and
romantic and perfect for two people on their honeymoon to share together.
And, I believe there is a show of some sort in town, a play set a number of
years ago about the rise of a mad king, and the young lord and lady that
made him fall."
Yelara smiled gently. "It sounds wonderful. I wish we could spend everyday
like this, just you and I fulfilling our every whim." Yelara moved her
kisses to the hollow of Liam's neck and began sucking gently on the water
mingled with sweat that had collected there. "And I'm really anxious to see
that show. I think I'll enjoy it immensely, although, I bet Dargus would
hate
it," she said, laughing quietly to herself.
Liam laughed softly as he brought his lips to Yelara's neck and began
kissing gently. "I have a feeling you're right," he said. "I hope they
have holorecordings of it so we can send him a copy. I think it's a
production he should definitely see." He sighed against her throat and
wished they could just stay there. "We should probably dress and start
heading back soon."
"You're right, even though I feel as if I could just stand here forever with
you, but it is getting cold," Yelara said, groaning as she forced herself to
pull away from Liam. "I think, however, that we should abandon any hopes of
finding our swimsuits. It's not as if they were of any use to us. I think
I wore mine for a matter of five minutes before you so kindly tore it off.
Besides, it was chafing me."
"And, you looked very good in it," he said with a grin. "And, you look very
good out of it. Let's get back to our clothes and find that tram. I think
we can walk slowly back to it though. I don't think there's really much
rush to get back to town." He kissed her as they started toward where their
clothes were scattered on the shore.
"Now that I'm out of my leather," Yelara said as she bent over to retrieve
her pants, "I'm more aware of how tight my clothing is getting already. I'm
not gonna fit into anything if I keep growing throughout the pregnancy like
I am now! Then I guess you'll have to find a thin, beautiful concubine to
look at and satisfy your aesthetic tastes," Yelara quipped, throwing Liam's
shirt at him playfully.
Liam caught his shirt and turned to Yelara with a smile. He shook his head
and moved closer, until their bodies were nearly pressed together again.
"There's only one woman I want," he said. "And, my pregnant, beautiful
wife, no matter how large she gets, will satisfy my tastes wonderfully." He
brought his lips close to her ear and slid his a hand between her legs. "In
fact, I do love how my wife tastes, and couldn't dream of tasting another."
Yelara tossed her head back and laughed wildly as she tried to wriggle away
from Liam. "You're completely wicked Liam!" she shrieked amidst the
laughter as she slapped Liam's hand and stepped away. "Save your appetite
for dinner," she said as a mischievous grin began spreading across her face.
Before she could suppress her impulses, Yelara quickly rushed over to Liam
and shoved him with all her strength back into the reservoir. "I just
thought you needed to cool those urges of yours off a bit," she said
playfully as she hastily gathered up all their clothing, including Liam's
pants, and began running up the hill. "See you on the tram, Liam!"
Liam laughed as he watched her running off. He lunged forward and propelled
himself out of the water. He had no idea where his shirt had gone, and
figured it was somewhere beneath the surface of the water, but he could
still see his pants running away. He started after Yelara, laughing as he
ran. He didn't know if she would go as far as the tram still carrying their
clothes, but it would be a surprise for everyone there if she did.

"That place looks nice," Yelara commented as she pointed to a little
restaurant across the road from where they were walking. "Oh, and if I
haven't mentioned it yet, thank you for the dress, my love. I think red
suits me, don't you?"
"It definitely does," he said, admiring it. He had been forced to purchase
new clothes upon their return to town, not that new purchases were necessary
for Yelara, but going to dinner wearing only a pair of leather pants and
boots would have raised an eyebrow or two. They had found the red dress
Yelara wore, and then a pair of lightweight pale blue pants made of
Corellian linen and a deep blue native shirt that appeared to be made out of
some net-like material.
He glanced across the street at the restaurant and nodded. "That one looks
perfect," he said. "You ready to eat, or would you like to walk around a
little more."
"Well, considering I haven't eaten for almost an entire day, I'd say we
should go and have a meal. The doctor said I have to start taking care of
myself better, and I don't think starving myself and our poor child is what
he had in mind." Yelara adjusted the single strap of her dress and smoothed
out the light, silky material. She knew the dress must have cost a fortune,
but Liam refused to tell her exactly how much. She did tell him, however,
that she'd pay him back for it, but in the form of sexual favours. He
agreed without hesitation. "I can't believe our first day here is almost
over. I don't ever want this week to end," she said, leaning her head
against Liam's shoulder and squeezing his hand.
As they started across the street, Liam put an arm around her. "Tomorrow, I
will try to use the Force to slow the day down for us to enjoy more." He
gave her a smile, and pushed back the sudden urge to take her into his arms
in the middle of the street and kiss her again. But, they continued walking
until they'd entered the restaurant. They were met by a young man who led
them to a table.
Liam held Yelara's chair for her as she sat, and then took his own seat.
"Today was a beautiful day," he said, gazing across at her.
"Hopefully the first of many," she replied. She reached across the table
and took Liam's hand. It seemed, now, as if she would go into withdrawal if
she wasn't touching at least some part of Liam for more than a moment at a
time. Her need for him grew the longer she was with him and she could only
imagine how horrible the suffering would be if they were ever to part. There
was no need to think about that now; they were together and that's all that
mattered for the moment. She would have to start thinking about their
future, one they would share together and she refused to allow pessimism to
taint their happiness. "After Turren, where do we go, Liam? What are we
gonna do?"
Liam stared at their hands for several long moments as he contemplated the
question. Finally he looked up. "Do you still want to make Dargus pay? We
can start doing that. Or, we can just go and start anew, forgetting about
Tae'Karada and all that."
Yelara sighed and felt all the colour drain from her face. As she held
Liam's hand, she could feel the rage and the hatred he felt for Dargus
freezing his blood. She slowly drew her hand away as the sensations
intensified and hoped the absence of touch would sever their link, keeping
Liam's emotions from assimilating her own. "A day doesn't go by that I
don't think about that bastard and everything he's done to me. I wish it
were possible, but I don't think I could start anew until I've seen Dargus
punished for his crimes." Yelara leaned in so the other patrons couldn't
pick up on their conversation. "But what could we possibly do that would
hurt Dargus? We've already got the palace tagged and we don't have the
resources right now for a full scale assault."
Liam nodded and let his anger dissolve. After a moment of silence and
focusing, he looked up at her. "We harry his flanks," he said. "He has
outlying properties we can hit. We can sabotage them, make them
inoperative. I think we can use our contacts with the queen to get lists of
his operations, above board and illicit. We make him upset, make him move
after us; and when he does, we're not there. When Dargus is angered, he
boils, and we can use that against him. His rage blinds him, unfocuses him.
If we hit him enough like this, he will eventually unravel himself. But,
we start from the outside, hitting with guerilla tactics, and move toward
the center when the final stroke will be an assault against his palace.
And, then, the mad king falls before the lord and lady."
Yelara sat back in her chair and simply held herself as she stared blankly
at the empty glass before her. "You've thought a lot about this, haven't
you?" she asked quietly as she shifted her eyes to meet his gaze. "Do you
actually think just the two of us can sneak into one of Dargus' facilities
and destroy it? I'd only drag you down, Liam. I am hardly capable of
defending myself if the situation arose."
"My martial art skills should be more than sufficient when we get inside,"
he said. "I can teach you a few extra tricks with both blade and blaster if
you want. Your technical skills will be very important when we're inside.
For something like this, the fewer the better. Two will make less noise,
draw less attention. And, I've been thinking about it off and on for
awhile, but not as much recently. When Dargus kidnapped Elisia, I started
formulating plans to bring him down."
Liam realized he hadn't thought of his former student in some time. He
found it oddly unsettling that that was the case. His feelings for Yelara
had so eclipsed everything else, that he found little time for other things.
While a part of him was curious, he was not eagerly intent on tracking
down
the girl. "And, I've been using the same tactics against the Empire."
"We'd have to plan it out carefully, Liam. We'd need detailed maps of each
complex... Would the High Princess really be willing to hand over that
information
to
us?" Yelara asked, biting her lower lip and looking uncertainly at Liam. "We
would make a good team though. I...I've just never done anything like that
before."
"We can do a few practice simulated runs before we ever hit anything," he
said. "And, I'm sure we can get what we need, through the High Princess or
someone
else. Most of the public buildings will be required to have plans on
record, but we'll make sure to check into any additional, unrecorded
features before moving in. We'll work up to it. We don't want to go in too
fast, and find out we're not ready. And, we won't be able to keep this up
together for long, not with the pregnancy."
Yelara gave a short laugh and leaned in towards Liam again. "I almost
forgot about that," she mused as she placed her hand on Liam's again. "Let's
not worry about that now, though. It won't start being an issue until I'm
farther along, which means if we're gonna do this, we have to start as soon
as possible. I'm not afraid, Liam," Yelara said with a reassuring smile,
"I'm just worried that we will hit him over and over again, and it won't
make a damn difference."
Liam's body stiffened at her words, and then relaxed. He gave a short laugh
and shook her head. "I was just thinking that same thing," he said. "We'll
do what we can against him. If nothing else, we'll make him take notice of
us. And, if we need to, we'll band his other enemies together, and attack
him from all sides. There are no guarantees this will work, but we'll do
everything we can to see that it does. We may be like gletches on a bantha,
but we just need to make sure that where Dargus decides to scratch is where
we're not."
"That's an interesting analogy," Yelara said with a smile. "And I know that
we're two very determined and stubborn individuals. We'll make it work.
Even if we don't manage to destroy Dargus completely, at least we can make
his
life a living hell." Yelara lifted from her chair and kissed Liam tenderly
on the lips. "You have a wonderful mind, my love."
"Thank you," he said, after another kiss. "And, I think we will do quite
nicely making Dargus' life a living hell. Someone is going to come take our
order, aren't they?" He looked around for someone who worked at the
restaurant.
"They better or we're going to have to find a way to grab their attention."
Yelara smiled mischievously and kicked her shoe off underneath the table,
after which she began running her foot along Liam's leg. "We are quite good
at making loud noises," she said suggestively as she extended her long leg
and placed her foot into Liam's lap. "Shall we call that waitress over
now?" Yelara asked, rubbing her foot against Liam's groin and smiling
pleasantly at him. "Or we could always get thrown out and find a place with
better service."
Liam reached down under the table and ran his hand along Yelara's calf. He
felt himself responding to the touch of her foot, his arousal building up
again despite their activities from earlier in the day. He smiled across
the table at Yelara and was about to respond in kind, when a presence
approaching the table stopped him. Unfortunately, as the young waitress
neared the table, Liam was unable to stifle the moan Yelara's foot sent
bubbling up from beneath the table.
Her eyes were wide as she quickly raised her eyes from Yelara's leg
stretched out beneath the table and into Liam's lap where it flexed and
massaged at the erection barely contained within the fabric of his pants.
Her eyes went back and forth between Liam and Yelara before they finally
settled on Liam.
He laughed softly and, with a wink, said, "Honeymoon," as if that would
explain everything.
It seemed to suffice, and she quickly took their orders and departed. Once
she was gone, Liam could contain his laughter no longer. Other restaurant
patrons glanced at their table, but said nothing. "I wonder if they get
many honeymooners here."
"Well, by the look on her face, I'd say they don't get very many as feisty
as us." Yelara laughed and slowly removed her foot from Liam's groin,
letting it linger a moment longer upon his thigh before returning it to her
side of the table. "I haven't smiled this much in all my life. I mean, you
always manage to make me laugh. You're not as brooding as I thought you
were when I first met you," Yelara said as she searched for her shoe. "Do
you remember that day?"
Liam smiled and nodded. "I do," he said. "Very well, as a matter of fact.
You saved me from a pretty rough crowd. And, you're right, I don't brood
nearly as much as I used to. I guess I don't really have a reason to brood
anymore."
"Hey, you're right. I did save your life! I guess that means you still owe
me," Yelara said playfully. "You can pay up tonight...all night." Yelara
gave Liam a crooked smile as her hand caressed his, and the waitress came
promptly with their meals. The girl cocked an eyebrow at each of them as
she set
their plates down and seemed to glance at Liam's lap, most likely to make
certain there wasn't anything else peaking out from under the table. "I
think we have to give her a really good tip," Yelara whispered across the
table as the waitress walked away.
Liam's only response was more laughter as they started their meals. When
the meal ended, he would make sure that the waitress got a good tip for
having
to endure them as customers.

The meals were fabulous, and Liam and Yelara decided that they would have
to return again before their week was out. As they started back down the
street in the direction of the theatre, they heard the sounds of voices and
drums approaching. It sounded like some big processional moving through
the street. Liam chuckled softly as he glanced at Yelara, his curiousity
piqued at whatever might be approaching from around the corner.
"I guess that's our welcoming party," Yelara said with a smile as she pulled
on Liam's arm and veered them towards the music. "I hope everyday on Turren
will be this exciting," she shouted back.
As they moved down the street toward the music, edging partially into the
street to get a better view, Liam spotted the spy. He was watching them
from a shadowed alcove across the street. The lights of his head cam glowed
in the darkness, casting an eerie green light across his face. Liam could
just barely see the hint of a smile, of white teeth against the
darkness. Then the revellers were on top of them, spilling around the
corner like a waterfall of bodies. Without realizing it, he and Yelara
were suddenly in the midst of the singing and strumming and banging and
shouting. A pair of revellers grabbed his shoulders and planted kisses on
either side of his face. He felt himself lurch backward as their momentum
carried him along with the surging river of bodies.
He was aware of Yelara, still holding his hand, being dragged along in the
undertow. Then, with a jolt the lifeline was cut, and Yelara's hand was no
longer in his. Panic welled within Liam as his thoughts turned to the spy,
hiding from the alcove. "Yelara," he cried out, pushing upstream to where
she would be, to where he could feel her. "Yelara!!"
Yelara had lost sight of Liam and was looking frantically around for him.
The crowd of people was growing denser and Yelara was helplessly pushed
deeper into the large horde of dancing and
singing partygoers. "Liam!" Yelara cried, the volume of her voice unable to
compete with the raucous laughter and music. She could feel hands and
bodies brushing up against hers as she travelled through the gauntlet,
trying desperately to find an opening and a way out.
"You're not dancing,"
she heard a voice in her ear say as she was grabbed by the waist and spun
around.
"No, thank you. I don't feel like dancing," she shouted above the music,
trying to free herself from the man's grip.
"Oh don't be shy, I'll teach you," he added with a smile. He began moving
through the crowd, swaying his hips and taking Yelara along for the ride.
"No, really, I have to go find my husband," Yelara said firmly.
"Not in this crowd you're not!" he replied with a loud laugh as he pulled
Yelara closer. "Now come on. Smile! This is a party!" he said gaily as
he spun Yelara around.
Liam could feel Yelara near, but drifting farther away. He turned in the
crowd and pushed forward. His anger was rising as he continued to call her
name. Around him the temperature of the air dropped dramatically.
"Yelara!!"
He pushed his way through crowd calling her name.
"She'll get you at the end of the route, sugar," a voice said as a young
body, scantily clad in little more than lace and flowers, appeared at Liam's
side. "Just enjoy the
parade and you can see her in about twenty minutes."
"I don't have twenty minutes," he said pushing toward the other side of the
river of dancing bodies. "Yelara!!"
She reached out and grabbed his arm, her hand froze, clutching his forearm
for a moment before she let out a sharp screech and snatched her hand
away. Liam looked at the hand and cursed himself. Dammit, he
scolded. Get control.
He reached out a hand to take hers, his own flesh warming as he did. She
tried to pull her hand away, but he grabbed it before she could get
away. He sent a warmth from him and into her, frostbitten flesh restored
itself to
normal under his healing touch. He apologized and pushed away, propelling
himself out of the river.
In the alcove, he saw nothing. It was empty, and he saw the spy
nowhere. "Yelara!!"
He quickly ran down the side of the column, using senses only available
through the Force and his bond with Yelara to find her.
"Look I don't have time!" Yelara protested as she was pushed further into
the crowd. She tried to push free of the
tall man who continued to smile at her despite the obvious distress in her
face. His grip on her waist was firm, but she was in no discomfort; she
merely wanted to find Liam and get away from the claustrophobic crowd of
people.
"Look, darlin', it's a party! Have some fun! Look, if it makes you feel
better, we can go somewhere a little less crowded and I can show you some
moves," he said slyly, pressing Yelara closer to him. "Loosen up!"
"I can't if you keep holding me so tight!" Yelara hollered back as the man's
hands travelled uncomfortably close to her rear. "I need to find my husband
and believe me, he won't be pleased if he sees you accosting his wife."
"That is if he finds you," the man answered back with a smile.
Yelara's heart rate was accelerating and the music seemed to grow louder,
drowning out her protests. The revellers were dancing wildly around her and
shrieks of laughter filled the air. Yelara was becoming more and more
frantic the longer she remained separated from Liam. The man's hands
slipped from Yelara's waist and travelled down along her thighs. The moment
his hands found their way underneath her dress, Yelara gasped and sent
her knee into his groin. The man drew his hands quickly away to cradle his
balls and Yelara took it as her opportunity to get away.
"Liam!" she cried out as she weaved through the crowd.
"Come back darlin'!" the man hollered at her in a pain-stricken voice.
Liam continued down the column, following his senses. And, then he saw
her. On the other side, just getting free of the crowd. He shouted. She
turned and saw him. He breathed a sigh of relief and signalled for her to
stay there. He backed up a few extra meters and then ran toward the
crowd. As he moved, he channeled the Force into his legs, strengthening
them. He neared the crowd moving faster than a human should have been able
to move. Had the revellers not been so involved in their revelling, they
might have been scared. But, Yelara was the only one who saw as Liam leapt
into the
air and performed a graceful somersault over the crowd.
The ground rushed up to meet him, and Liam braced for the impact. His
trajectory had been far too flat to make it over the crowd, and he knew the
landing would be a hard one. He rolled forward as his feet hit, and then
up into a standing
position, bracing himself against a bench before vanishing off into a bed
of flowers.
Once on his feet, he turned quickly to Yelara and pulled her into his arms,
the sting of tears in his eyes as he held her close.
"I was looking all over for you," Yelara said. She took a deep cleansing
breath as her voice quavered and her body trembled against Liam's. "I hate
parades," she murmured, burying her head into Liam's chest.
"So do I," he said. "I thought I'd lost you in there. With so many
people, you can't move. And, even in a place like this, there are people
to fear."
He looked around for the spy, and was about to give up looking when he
spotted him on the peak of a nearby roof. He could tell the man was
laughing. Liam frowned and narrowed his eyes, then smiled. He reached out
with the Force and watched as the man's mirth suddenly turned to surprise
as he found himself pushed backwards and down the other side of the
building.
He sighed and kissed the top of Yelara's head. "I'm glad you're safe."
"I'm glad you found me." Yelara looked up at Liam and pressed her palm to
his cheek. "I was fine until some creep started hassling me. I ended up
having to knee him in the groin to get away. He knew I wanted to go, but he
just kept smiling at me. What a jerk..." she said as her voice trailed off.
Liam quickly looked around. "What creep," he said, trying to keep the
panic, the anger, from his voice. "What did he look like?" His eyes moved
back to where the spy had been standing and then back into the
crowd. "Where was he? In the crowd?"
"Yes, he was in the crowd, but it's ok. I don't see him anymore and I think
he was just a little drunk," Yelara said. "Don't worry, Liam. I'm alright.
Let's just go." She felt Liam's body stiffen as she embraced him. The
tension within him was apparent as his jaw tightened and his eyes seemed to
glow with a sinister blue phosphorescence. He was cold to the touch and
Yelara felt her own body succumbing to the same deathly chill. "Liam,
please let's just go," she pleaded gently as she slipped from his embrace.
"You're scaring me," she whispered in disbelief, scarcely able to believe
she could ever feel uncomfortable with Liam.
Liam looked at Yelara and the blood drained from his face. He could feel
her fear and knew he was the cause of it. He battered down the anger that
had welled within him and shook his head. He had to tell her about the
spy, she had to know. She would be upset he had kept it a secret for so
long, but now he had to tell her.
"I'm sorry," he said, his voice soft and regretful. "And, I am also sorry
for keeping what I'm going to say now from you. I strongly believe Dargus
has someone watching us. I've seen him several times today. At first I
was suspicious, but told myself I was only being paranoid. Then I saw him
again while we were out at the waterfalls. He was watching us, and while I
was aware of him for a brief moment, I, um..." He fumbled for the words,
his face reddening with slight embarrassment. "You sort of, quite
pleasantly distracted me. I'd completely forgotten him until I saw him in
an alcove when the parade came by. When we got separated in the crowd, and
then I lost him again. I thought he was going after you." He shook his
head. "I don't know for certain he's from Dargus, but I don't know who else
it would be. But, he is definitely watching us, and he has a camera of
some sort. I didn't want to alarm you in case it was nothing, in case it
was just my paranoia, but I'm certain he's watching." He shook his head
again and stared far up into the sky, wishing he could just cry out. "I
didn't want this to affect our time here, to ruin a happy week of just us,
and none of the outside troubles."
Yelara couldn't decide between slapping Liam, flying back to Tae'Karada and
murdering Dargus, or running back to their room and locking the door behind
her for the rest of the trip. She looked back into the crowd of people,
searching for the man who had stopped her. He was nowhere to be found, but
she wasn't even certain if he was the spy or just a drunken reveller who
liked the ladies a little too much.
She turned her gaze back to Liam and
shook her head at him incredulously. "Damn you, Liam. I suppose you
thought by keeping it from me, you were protecting me, but what if that man
back there really was one of Dargus' henchmen? I wouldn't have known until
it was too late! How do you expect me to protect myself from a threat the
existence of which I know nothing about!?"
Yelara shuddered as she thought
back to the waterfall, thought about Dargus sitting in his palace, watching
their every cry of passion, their every move. He had pried into a private
part of their lives; their act of love and passion was tainted now. She
could never think about that moment, Liam in her arms sharing himself with
her in one of the most beautiful places she'd ever seen. She would never be
able to look upon that moment again without thinking of Dargus watching them
with a malignant smile on his face. He'd imposed himself upon their life
again, even
when she'd thought they were free from his interference.
And Liam had kept silent about it.
She should have been grateful that he was sparing her, but
all she felt was betrayal.
"I'm going back to the room," she said in a cold
whisper as she pushed past Liam.
Liam watched as she moved away. "I will see you tomorrow," he said as his
emotional shields fell into place to protect him from the heartbreak that
would tear him apart if he allowed himself to feel it. She did not seem to
care that he was not certain the man was Dargus', or that he had completely
forgotten about him until he'd seen him again at the parade. She did not
seem to care that he was trying to cast away some of his paranoia, but
instead seemed to want him to embrace it and share it with her. And, now
they would spend the first night of their honeymoon apart. He started
forward to where he'd last seen the spy.
Yelara pushed past some of the crowd who had now spilled out onto the
walkway. Before she could even try to force them back, tears welled up
in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. She gritted her teeth in
frustration
as she continued slowly down the path. A fit of sobs wracked her body
and her vision became blurred as the tears washed over her eyes. Yelara
slumped against a nearby wall as she tried desperately to compose herself.
All she could think about, though, was how lonely she would be that night,
sleeping alone in the bed that should have been hers and Liam's. Dargus was
coming between them again, driving them apart. It seemed, then, that the
freedom she had seized from Dargus had become short-lived and if she
continued to let Dargus' petty games enrage her, so too would be her
marriage
with
Liam.
As the parade had finally cleared away, save for a few stragglers,
Yelara turned back towards where Liam had been standing. "Liam?" she called
out before a whimper engulfed her voice. She made her way onto the street
and scanned it up and down. "Liam!" she called out as she regained her
voice. All she heard in the cool night air was the sound of music and
singing dying away, as well as her own voice echoing back. Liam was gone,
which scared her into another fit of sobs. She wasn't afraid that he
wouldn't be coming back or that she'd lost him for good, she was more
afraid of what he would do while they were apart.
***
Around the corner, Liam peered into the darkness. His senses were pushed
to the limits as he sought the spy, Dargus Kandran's spy who threatened his
marriage. He saw the signs that the man had fallen, and then had moved off
away. The trail was cold though, and Liam knew tracking him
would be difficult in the waning light.
Damn, he thought. That he got away meant that he was still free, and could
still be spying on them. He would be eliminated as soon as possible, and a
message would be sent to Dargus. But there was nothing he could do tonight.
Liam turned toward the starport, deciding that with Yelara angry with him,
he would sleep there for the night. Perhaps they could talk in the
morning, mend the wounds they'd caused. He walked slowly, his anger
gone. He felt suddenly tired, and so alone. Though, he could still feel
Yelara. It pained him to feel her sadness, but he forced himself to feel
it, to know that he was the one to cause it.
He rounded the building and started down the main street when a lone figure
in a red dress caught his attention. She sat upon the curb, face in hands,
her shoulders and chest moving with what could only be sobs. The sight of
her was a knife to his heart.
He started slowly forward, hesitant only in that he didn't know what her
reaction at seeing him would be. Once he was close enough, he hazarded his
voice. "Yelara?"
Without even gazing up to see the face of the man she pined for, Yelara
sprang to her feet and rushed into Liam's arms. Her sobs grew in intensity
as she kissed Liam's chest through the fabric of his shirt. Her fingers
buried themselves into his hair as she brought his face towards her and
kissed him furiously, planting them on his lips and nose and eyelids. "You
came back," she whispered as her crying began to subside, but her kisses
continued.
Liam's arms wrapped around Yelara and held her to him as she kissed his
face. He kissed back, finding cheek, lip, or chin as he could. "I'll
always come back to you," he said. "I didn't know if you'd want me back,
but I'm here." As they touched, he could feel the exhaustion wearing away,
his life returning to him. "I love you."
"I know, I know..." Yelara said quietly, her voice trailing off until the
words were nothing more than an inaudible whisper. She let her kisses
finally settle upon his lips and her hands made their way to his rear where
she let them linger. "My love...Dargus will pay for this too along with
everything else he's ever done," she said softly.
Liam closed his eyes, returning the kiss and losing himself to Yelara. "We
will see that he does," he said. "I tried to find the spy, but he was
gone. I'm sure we will see him again, and then we can stop him. Perhaps
and send a message back to Dargus."
"That doesn't matter now. If we see him again, we'll take care of him, but
if he doesn't show up, let's just leave it," Yelara said. "Can we just go
back to our room now? I just wanna fall asleep in your arms," she said
quietly as she nuzzled against his neck and laid gentle kisses upon him.
Liam started moving back toward their hotel room. They moved slowly,
existing only for each other. "If we see him again, we'll deal with
it. Otherwise, we will enjoy our honeymoon."
"One good thing came out of this, though," Yelara said as she walked beside
Liam, her arms wrapped around his waist and her head resting against his
chest. "At least Dargus got a good look at what he's missing. What we
shared
at the waterfalls was pretty...wild, I must admit," Yelara added with a
chuckle. "And now, he knows about you. He knows I left him for another
man. That should be a slap in the face."
Liam laughed softly. "Maybe watching that little recording will get him so
upset, he'll start making mistakes before we even hit anything. It'd be
nice to have him reeling already. Though, recording all our lovemaking and
sending it to him to blind him with rage is not something I want to do."
In the distance, their hotel appeared at the end of the
street. "We were
pretty wild, weren't we?" He grinned as he looked down at her. "You wanna
go back tomorrow? We'll have to get new suits, but I've got enough money
to get us suits for every day."
"Suits? Who needs suits?" Yelara asked as she shot a suggestive wink in
Liam's direction. "Are you...are you rested, yet?" Yelara smiled
mischievously and let her hand drift over Liam's crotch. "I mean, that
fright you gave me back there got me a little...worked up," she said slowly,
exaggerating each word as her hand rubbed against the thin fabric of Liam's
pants.
Liam smiled as he covered Yelara's hand with his, and then slid it over to
the front of Yelara's dress. He pulled her to him and kissed her, the heat
of passion flaring as their tongues began to explore each other's
mouths. "I'm more than rested," he said. "I don't know if we're going to
be able to go through the lobby like this, hands groping each other."
"I think we're on the verge of setting some sort of record, my love," Yelara
said with a laugh. "I knew I made the right decision when I asked you to
marry me." Yelara giggled as she pulled Liam quickly into a small alleyway
between their hotel complex and pressed him up against the wall. "And I
think this solves our problem. We don't have to go through the lobby after
all." Yelara laughed with delight as she lifted the bottom of her dress
and flashed her bare legs at Liam. "Are you tempted enough yet?"
Liam grinned. "I'm always tempted with you," he said, "but right now, more
than I've ever been before." He slipped a hand beneath the hem of the
dress she was holding up, and brushed it between her thighs. He pulled her
to him and kissed her again, then dropped his mouth to her neck and
shoulders. "If we're gonna break a record, we really need to break
it. Makes a challenge. For the next."
"I know another challenge," Yelara said as she arched her back and pushed
her hips towards Liam as his fingers tickled her crotch. "We can see how
many people we wake up."
Liam slipped his fingers into Yelara's already wet cunt, bringing about an
immediate moan. He could tell that she was very excited already and it
wouldn't take much time to push her over the edge. He pulled himself away
from the wall and reversed their positions so Yelara's back was against the
surface. His fingers, however never ceased their stimulation. "I think
I've got enough steam left for one more," he whispered. "Do you want to do
it here or the room?" He grinned. "Don't worry though, you're going to
cum twice before we leave here."
"I can't wait until we get to the room," Yelara said quickly. "Now...do it
now." She licked her lips and pulled Liam in for a kiss with her free hand.
Her other hand was bringing Liam's hand to her breast, her nipples
immediately hardening against his touch. She whimpered and moaned gently as
her tongue tangled with Liam's and his fingers continued motioning inside of
her. The kiss broke quickly as Yelara tossed her head back against the wall
and cried out, loud enough for her voice to echo through the alleyway.
Liam reached up to the single strap holding the dress in place and pulled
it down over Yelara's shoulder. He pushed the fabric down to her waist and
immediately brought his mouth to her breasts. He could feel the vibrations
of Yelara's moans and cries through her chest as he sucked and nibbled at
her nipples. His hand, working furiously between her legs, had her very
close to orgasm. His other hand, now no longer at Yelara's breasts reached
down and released the clasps holding his pants closed and felt relief as
his cock no longer strained against the material. "I've never done this
standing up," he said, in a hoarse whisper.
"You have now," Yelara replied breathlessly. Her hips pushed themselves
forward as Liam's touch sent a jolt of ecstasy through her trembling body.
Her jaw dropped open as she emitted incrementally louder cries into the
crisp night air. Yelara's chest heaved as her climax drew near and her
breasts felt like weights upon her as they swelled in response to Liam's
unrelenting touch. She pressed Liam's head against her chest, making
certain he couldn't move his lips away from her nipples even if he tried.
She
could feel her legs trembling and her hips thrusting more violently as her
body seemed to engorge on the intense sensations rising from her cunt.
"Oh
gods, Liam!" Yelara cried out as she frantically tried to find something to
do with her hands besides clenching her fists and driving her nails into her
palms. She moved a hand to her breast and began massaging it as Liam
continued sucking the other one. Her cries grew hoarse as the throbbing in
her cunt became more intense. Her only free hand immediately flew to Liam's
groin and took hold of his cock. She began rubbing it desperately as she
imagined it inside of her, disappearing inside the hollowness of her mound.
A groan of intense need filled Liam, and seemed to emanate from him at
Yelara's touch. He pressed himself to her, his lips still at her breasts.
He kissed and sucked his way up her chest and neck, moving again
to her lips as down below, he positioned himself to enter Yelara.
As his prick throbbed at her entrance, he felt Yelara moan into his
mouth. Her need was clear. He could practically feel the lips of her cunt
trying to pull him inside her. Unable to restrain himself anymore, Liam
slid himself inside Yelara. She accepted him eagerly until he was all the
way in. With her back against the wall, Liam pulled Yelara's legs up
around his waist. He used his strength to support her as he began to slide
in and out, each thrust of his hips bringing a cry of pleasure from them
both.
He didn't know if anyone was around, and he didn't care. They were making
enough noise to wake the dead, and it wasn't difficult to guess what the
causes of their noise were. He knew he couldn't stop now. The rest of the
galaxy disappeared, and left him with only Yelara and their wall.
As he continued fucking Yelara, their cries grew louder and more
frenetic. Neither would last much longer.
"Don't stop, Liam," Yelara cried out forcefully. Her hands were clawing at
Liam's back as she clung to him and she could feel her nails scraping away
bits of flesh. She barely had the strength to lift her head and rested it
back against the wall as she focused all her energies on her cunt, trying to
will
herself to delay the climax. She wanted Liam to go on forever, to hold her
in his arms even after the orgasm hit and sent her body spasming. Her body
moved with Liam's as he thrust his hips forward and pushed himself deeper
inside of her.
She could feel the sweat dripping from her face and rolling
down onto her swelled breasts. She gripped Liam's hair and pushed his face
into her chest, hoping he would use his tongue to lick off her salty sweat
and use his mouth to ease the tension of her hard nipples. She violently
began thrusting her hips forward as her muscles tensed and she felt her cunt
tightening around Liam's throbbing cock. "Oh....gods, Liam," she croaked as
she squeezed her thighs and pushed herself against him.
Their joined cries echoed through the alley as the beginning tremors of
orgasm hit. Liam's mouth found Yelara's breasts at her urging. Her body
trembled as his lips sucked and bit at her nipples, tasting the saltiness
of her tender skin. He was blind with passion, his body like
flames. Yelara's cries echoed in his head and throughout his body. The
pulsing contractions in Yelara's cunt finally pushed him over the edge.
Liam's balls tightened, and he threw his head back and cried out, his voice
mixing with Yelara's. His climax hit with a powerful force and flooded her
cunt with his seed. It took several seconds for their cries to silence.
They hugged each other against the wall, Liam still inside Yelara. He held
her to him, needing her to keep him from falling, from floating away.
After a long while of just breathing, Liam finally whispered, "Oh wow."
"I hope that bloody spy got that on camera," Yelara said breathlessly as she
ran her fingers through Liam's moist hair. "I want Dargus to see that you
have all of me. He may have had my body numerous times, but he never once
touched my heart, not like you have, Liam." Yelara brought Liam's face to
hers and kissed him tenderly, despite being barely able to keep her eyes
open.
After all of the passion they had just experienced, the tenderness of
Yelara's kiss set his heart beating faster in his chest again. Finally the
kiss broke, and once again he was out of breath. "I will love you so much,
that the numerous times he had your body will be insignificant, just like
Dargus."
"You've already far surpassed Dargus," Yelara said with a gentle laugh.
Yelara took Liam's hand and brought his palm to her lips as she kissed it.
"These hands," she mused as she pressed his hand to her face, "they have the
power to kill, yet at the same time, they have the power to make me cry out
in
ecstasy, to comfort me, and soon, they will gently cradle our child."
Yelara gazed up at Liam and marvelled at how a man who had been a complete
enigma
to her the day she met him on the flightdeck, could now have captured her
heart entirely. She knew what mood he was in just by his facial expression,
how his voice softened when he was unsure of himself, even his touch
expressed what was in his heart at each moment. She loved knowing him and
truly being one with him in every way. "Take me to bed, Liam," she
whispered
as she let the warmth of his hand permeate her cheek.
"Okay," he said with a gentle smile. He pulled out of her and put himself
back in his pants. Once he'd settled himself, he helped Yelara straighten
her clothes. Once they looked presentable enough to walk through the lobby
of the hotel, he scooped her into his arms. She wrapped her arms around
his neck and rested her head against his shoulder as he walked out of the
alley and back toward the hotel.
As they emerged from the darkened alley, a small man and woman, elderly to
be sure, stood watching them with mouths hanging open. Liam gave the
couple a nod, and the older woman looked him over and leaned in to her
husband. "That's how to please a woman," she whispered as she slapped his
chest. "Screams like that."
Liam couldn't help laughing as he continued on down the street, gazing into
Yelara's eyes. "I guess we impressed them. He looked very shocked, but
she was impressed."
"She wasn't the only one," Yelara said with a wink as Liam carried her up
the stairs and into the hotel. They passed dozens of patrons as they
meandered into the lobby, all of them gawking as Liam strolled
past them with Yelara in his arms. She had her ear pressed to Liam's chest
and could distinctly
hear him humming. She finally felt the excitement of the day transform
into a wave of
exhaustion. "When our child is born, you can sing it to sleep," Yelara
whispered as she closed her eyes and let the song flow through her and relax
her entire body.
Liam smiled as he entered the hotel, unaware of the shadow watching behind
him. Unblinking lights, peering out of the darkness, watching every move.
"I will do that," he said. "And, maybe if you're good I'll sing to
you. Though, I don't know if that's really a good thing." He climbed the
flight of stairs, careful to make sure Yelara's feet did not hit anything
on the way up. Finally, they arrived at their door. The keycode opened
the door, and Liam crossed the threshold with Yelara in his arms. "I never
thought I'd be able to do that," he added as he moved to set her on the bed.
"Well, I guess you're lucky I came along then," Yelara teased as her body
sank into the soft mattress of the bed. She let her arms fall away from
Liam's neck and laid her hands onto her stomach. "Goodnight, little one,"
she whispered as she slowly kissed her hand and pressed it back to her
stomach.
Liam leaned down and planted a kiss on Yelara's belly. "Sleep tight," he
said. And, then looked up at Yelara as he crawled up next to her on the
bed. "What a day." He moved up until he could slip his arms around
her. "I think we're probably going to end up sleeping for a few days after
today." He kissed her again gently. "I saw they gave us a little bar over
in the corner. Did you want a drink before we fall asleep?"
"The doctor said I shouldn't," Yelara answered before a yawn forced its way
out. "But you can have one and I'll just lick the residue off your lips."
Yelara smiled and wrapped her arms around Liam as she used his chest as a
pillow. "I feel like we've been through so much today. Liam?" Yelara asked
quietly as she opened her eyes and stared across the room. "What if that
spy followed us to the doctor? What if...what if Dargus knows about the
child?"
Liam turned his attention to her, coming more awake at her words. "I'll go
to the doctor in the morning," he said. "I will find out if anyone has
inquired about your condition. And, before the week is out, we may need to
take care of this spy. We'll make sure Dargus knows nothing. And, if he
does, we'll have to make other plans. And, I think one of those would be
assuring him that the child is definitely mine."
"The child is definitely yours no matter what, Liam. And I don't care if he
finds out. Then he'll realize that I am truly gone and he can never have me
back. He's stubborn...just like me. I guess he thinks someday, I'll run
back into his arms and realize what a fool I've been. But, a fool was the
woman
who stayed with him as long as I did."
"I think people become fools around him," he said with a frown. "Perhaps
it's part of his latent power with the Force. I mean, look at the High
Prince of
Tae'Karada. The man actually allows Dargus to operate on his planet. I bet
he accepts Dargus' blood money willingly, and then paves the streets with
stone bought with the lives of those Dargus has ruined. We will make him
fall, and make the galaxy a safer place to raise our baby."
"That's right, Liam, 'we'," Yelara said as she stared at him sternly. "That
means no more hiding things from me. I want you to be honest with me about
everything and I don't want you trying to spare my feelings by lying to me.
We're a team now and that means what you know, I know." Yelara relaxed her
features and smiled gently at Liam as she kissed him. "Deal?"
Liam smiled. "Deal," he said. "From now on, I'll tell you everything. If
I have any suspicions, I'll tell you immediately, even though you might
think I'm just being paranoid." He shifted on the bed and pulled her even
closer. "I think we should visit all the waterfalls before the week is
over." He gave her a sly grin and kissed her neck. "What do you think?"
"Right now, I feel as if we just have. I can barely move my legs and even
keeping my eyes open is a struggle. I'm beginning to wonder if I can keep
up with you!" Yelara laughed gently and nestled against Liam as sleep began
summoning her. "Are you going to get some rest too? Not gonna stay up all
night looking out for spies?"
He nodded. "Yes, I'm going to sleep," he said. "I need to sleep. And, I
am a lot more tired than I look, if you'll believe that. I think we should
get under the sheets, curl up together, and get ourselves rested for
tomorrow." He forced himself to sit up in the bed and looked down at his
clothes. He realized, with a chuckle, that he didn't know if he had the
energy to remove them.
Yelara placed her hands upon Liam's shoulders and encouraged him to lie back
down. "Forget about the covers and forget about our clothes. Let's just
use each other for warmth and dream about the future, the waterfalls, our
child..." Yelara's voice lost all its momentum and simply trailed off into
a whisper. "I love you Liam Zaneth," she muttered as sleep began to weave
its spell.
Liam smiled as Yelara struggled to keep her eyes open, but sleep was
catching up too quickly. He snuggled closer to her and gently kissed her
forehead. "And, I love you Yelara Zaneth." He lay still for a moment
before he felt sleep tug firmly at his consciousness.
It wasn't long before, still holding each other, Liam and Yelara were sound
asleep and the faintest traces of drool began falling onto Liam's chest.
